Valve's games are almost all in the 90%+ range. They're praised as one of the greatest game development companies EVER.

I wouldn't call them a "fake" game developer.

Among the list of PS2 games that come out jagged, God of War is on it. As is Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy XII....
