Katakana
Yeah, what does your name become in katakana?
Some examples: Bursurk Lurk: Burusuruku Ruruku Reach: Riichu Zaghurim: Sagurimu I'm not 100% sure though. Somebody who's better at katakana please correct me :/ Here's what katakana is if you didn't know: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=katakana |

Mine is... laughably easy, because it's supposed to be written in katakana in the first place. I haven't had any official education on this, so I'm not 100% clear on the details either, but they tend to use extended "a" sounds to represent English syllables that end with an "r". Like, your name might be ãƒã‚¶ãƒ¼ã‚¯ã€€ãƒ©ãƒ¼ã‚¯ã€€("bazaaku raaku"). It's a weird word to katakana-ize, so I'm not entirely sure that's the best way to say it, but it's less awkward than the way you did it. The way I did it does sound a bit like "Bazuck Luck" instead, but... XD it's kind of hard when that "ur" sound doesn't exist in Japanese. |

RE: Katakana
Zaghurim might sound better starting with Za or Dza, but other than that it seems fine.

RE: Re: RE: Katakana
jamuko is right for his own name and berserk lurk
kilga is also right zaghurim=ザグリãƒ* zagurimu tokzic=トックジック tokkujikku my name is ギルãƒãƒ¼ãƒˆ but i have everyone call me ギル I hate being called my full name in Japanese, and hate being called shorter versions of it in English. So English speakers call me Gilbert and Japanese people call me ギル (giru). If somebody does otherwise, I tell them not to, because I hate it. 87x=エイティーセヴェンエックス eiti-sevenekkusu |

RE: Re: RE: Katakana
Varia, wouldn't "zaghurim" be "zagurin"? I thought they did that with ending M sounds.
Anyway, mine is Afurobiin. Something like that, the "biin" part could probably be expressed with just "bin" but whatever. Also, sorry for not having the actual katakana... this comp doesn't have language on it. PS QreepyBORIS= kuriipiborisu |

I'm totally guessing here, from what romaji I know. Hell, I haven't looked at Japanese in so long that I'm not sure how to do my name. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |
