songs removed?
 

Hi!
Brief reintroduction, I'm an on/off player since like 2005? Mostly off. When I come back it's usually because an FFR song boomerangs into my head and I just want to experience it again.

Anyway, there's a song that I swear was called ASCII Art Core in the Dance2 category, and I can't find it anymore. It was a shorter song, lyrics I think were Japanese. Was this song removed or is my memory off?

If it was removed, I'd be interested in hearing why + what else has been removed / if there's some archive somewhere to know what else is no longer in the game. I know sometimes things get moved to Secret for example, but not sure how common that is (I remember FF Last Battle Festival wasn't secret once upon a time, sad surprise to see it require so many tokens but some kind strangers gifted me some).

The name was changed to Fuji-san because it was found that it was labelled incorrectly before

We will only remove a song if the musician revokes permission. Someone can correct me here but I think the only songs that have been removed are listed here: https://ffr.fandom.com/wiki/TC_Halogen#Disabled_Files

AJ Disabled Files, multiple April Fools files, the old secret song files (that required a password code in a secret prompt), Miles Away from Jae's proposal, Squaresoft-related song files (Original FF7 Battle, Chrono Trigger, etc.) and the widget files are all disabled. There's probably a couple in places here & there but that's a pretty general list.

Everything else is public. Basically what jacobvl39 said.

stargroup had something disabled as well iirc, don't remember the name of it
tbh I've been thinking about asking for jelly to be disabled, I personally think the song and chart are bad but I'm not sure if other people hate it as much as I do and there's the sentimental value of it as well
