Rhythm game rivals?
 

So the subject of rivalries in rhythm games have been on my mind alot recently and im just wondering if any one else had rivals that they were competing with throughout their rhythm game careers.

there have been a lot of rivals throughout the year, but i think the biggest ones for me were the D5 gang of OT14. It was honestly a lot of fun seeing everyone improve and compete along side them.

NSane was my main rival back in the 2008-2011 era. His scores were always just slightly better than mine so it pissed me off lol.

D4 Rivalry was pretty cool to be a part of. We used to compete on a set of files every week.

Zageron and I had a friendly rivalry back in '08-early '09 when we were two of the only one handers actively playing. We had a challenge to see who could get Oni first. I managed to win that one, with AIM Anthem. :D Incidentally, he got it later from the same song as well.

I guess these days my FFR rival is probably Diddlysquin? We're usually pretty neck and neck in tournaments.

aun que bueno, creo que me sigue ganando en jacks pero en otros skillsets le saco la chucha, era mi rival pero él ya no juega tanto vsrgs como antes, se la pasa fumando y fumando mariguana, recuerdo que siempre en el osu nos mechabamos los 2 en el multiplayer, buenos tiempos :v

YoshL was a big rival for me back in the day, but he never knew that lol. So was Sidek and GG_Guru! Found out almost 12 years ago that GG lived in the same area as me, one night we met and had a couple 4Lokos lmao. He was the only other black dude I knew on here and he was a top player then! Giggsa, where tf are you dude?

Last year I keep seeing people joining from other games and immediately jumping ahead of me and pushing my rank down. It felt like I was fighting just to protect my rank from all these random new people so I guess those were my rivals. Nowadays this is much less common, both because we've switched to top 50 scoring and because I've gotten so much better myself.
