I love the pokemon games, but I can't afford the newest system/pokemon games since I had a kid. Maybe the pair will be cheaper in a few years.

Don't have money to buy new pokemon games :(

I have a preference for the older era games anyways.

Won't stop me from playing one if I can get my hands on one though.

My OCD tendencies love Pokemon, but I stopped at Black/White when I had finished the Pokedex.

X/Y just didn't have enough new critters for me to warrant getting it. I'll probably reconsider if it ever decides to drop down to around £15.
