Who else makes Pads?

Where can I get a good metal pad at? I have a energy metal arcade pad. It's alright but the arrow tend to replicate when I tap on it once and it gets annoying.

DDRGAME seems like the only people who make metal pads. Blueshark , redoctance and Cobalt flux went out of business and I regret not buying a pad from any of them :l

I was going to make a joke here, but I'll refrain. I don't know much about metal pads, but I'd just search around for a used one of the brand you're looking for. Good luck!

Your best bet would be to look for used cobalt flux/blueshark pads on eBay and the like. It's unfortunate but there aren't any good pads being made anymore.

This thread will probably help you.

this is a new brand of pad that had a demo at DDR Storm. I didnt play on them myself, but I havent heard any bad things. In fact, reviews seem to be quite positive, aside from them being a bit pricey.

I was at Storm and gave these a try... little background first - I'd owned a Flux for 6 years, then leveled up to machines at home.

First impressions playing a 10 - I could step light and they registered every time; I could flatfoot and they registered every time. There was bounce, and it was way more sensitive than the Flux ever was for me, even with the penny mod. I knew where my footing was because of the small indentations, but could foresee some possible slippage going on without a heavier base underneath. My FA was wayyy off from normal though, my guess was the Stepmania global offset, since everything felt early. I played two songs and was pleasantly surprised at how well they performed.

Price aside, if you can't get to an arcade and want to play on something better than soft mats, it's not bad at all.

To be fair the make of the cobalt kind of doesnt make it worth buying. Just wait it out for when DJ dao releases his Dance pad. Its going to be retardedly pricey but the build will probably be the best out there.

We can negotiate. I would sell it for 400 since it's basically new, but I guess we can talk price.

Re: Who else makes Pads?

I'm making a production of pads from scratch using original DDR sensors and metal, these pads will have a perfect arcade feel, and i'm going to sell them for around 500 € + shipping

i can ship everywhere in europe but i think it would be pretty costly to send it in america.
