I personally disagree. It took me three restarts to nail my AAA, but that's mostly because I got caught offguard when the anchored 8th jumps came and trashed me, haha. The chart has many little spurts, and all of the "extended" (in quotes, because even those are pretty short) 16ths are pretty smooth in pattern-wise. I think 75 or 76 fits this chart pretty easily.

Predicted that Rarity would have a huge difficulty rate war prior to sending jx this week's ratings lol

Let's see how wide a range we get haha

The way the frames are on Rarity right now, I'd leaning towards Lambda's rating (77).

With the 2 frame minijacks gone from the 32nd bursts, this would be much cleaner; there are still a number of mean transitions though.

It would be different to me in difficulty if the patterns in question were scattered about, but in this case, a large majority of people are just going to be jump-trilling through the rolls. I don't know, I can't see this file up higher than 76, but I guess that's just me. Frame fixes or not, it's not hard to get through the rolls as long as you distance your taps evenly.

EDIT: I unlocked R176 v2; gonna try it out now.

With a Cherry On Top: Was pretty interesting. I always love a really short easy song, although this one was quite a lot more technical than I'm used to seeing.

Tokimori Uta: I enjoyed the song / step, nto really too much to say here.

Alchemy: I loved the music for this, and the step was pretty sweet as well. Felt like it really flowed with the song and there really wasn't any real crazy sections I could think of.

Rarity Attempts 400 Dresses (LOOMING MIX): Interesting song, although not as much Rarity as I was expecting in terms of vocals. This step REALLY presses on jump-trilling the rolls, although I think the real difficulty is in a few of the patterns that proceed them. Some of the transitions felt awkward to me, but all in all it was a fairly fun file. If you are like me though, you'll probably flag it a crap load of times. Although I finally AAA'd it now so yay!

EDIT: Agree with TC about R176 v2. Certainly isn't a bad file, but it does occasionally feel a bit overstepped or forced. Especially in the beginning, it felt so odd.

Eh, I personally wasn't a fan of the v2 for R176. Don't get me wrong, it's certainly better than the original chart. It just feels really forced in some spots.

for anyone who doesn't understand the requirements for R176 v2.

It is this . x-88-88-176-176.

No more then 176 goods and averages combined.
176 Misses and 176 boos.

Already explained it to someone who didn't get it.

With a cherry on top: Cute little song I love the use of coloured notes :3
Alchemy: Wow this was surprisingly hard but I still nailed it in 1 try ;)
Rarity attemps 400 dresses: Nice Pony song High FMO/Low FGO.
Tokimori uta: Decent file, starts off soft but density occurs near the ending.
R176 v2: Worth unlocking. Very fun file. I love the Hand and Quad abuse XD

Is this the year of hand files XD

R176 v2 - V1 is better

Alchemy - only one worth playing from these releases, cool song, fun chart.

Rarity Attempts 400 Dresses (LOOMING MIX) - boring pony faggot song

Tokimori Uta - nice easy song

With a Cherry On Top - short, straightforward, lol color notes, but that was expected.

Uhhh, well i guess im NEVER unlocking R176 v2... Its pretty much impossible with the legacy engine and i shouldnt be forced to switch to Velocity to get a skill token. GG

Re: Songs of the Week (November 4, 2012)

Either Gotta Catch em All needs to get bumped down, or Rarity Attempts needs to get bumped up. They can't both be 75s, that just doesn't make any sense.

Edit: I actually like Rarity at 75. So... yeah I still stand by my original statement, but that is for another thread.

Re: Songs of the Week (November 4, 2012)

More Skill Tokens I'll never be able to unlock? I still haven't unlocked the one from last week. Also, I know people are probably going to rage at me for saying this, but why are there constantly being brony songs added to the game?

R176 v2: Don't know if I'm ever going to unlock this because of the antiskill and the hours I'd have to play attempting it.
Alchemy: This file was pretty fun. I found it pretty easy for a 66 though.
Rarity Attempts 400 Dresses (LOOMING MIX): Refer to my above comment regarding the song choice. The stepfile was pretty crazy.
Tokimori Uta: I don't really have much to say about this one. It was a pretty simple file.
With A Cherry On Top: This is just a generic higher-ended easy file.

Poor reason to step any song on FFR ):

Not fond of the chart because of all of the awkward framers and how aggressive the file felt. ):
