I'm bored.

The name is totally random and stupid. I made this out of boredom.

You should work on getting anatomy, perspective and color theory down. It looks really flat and naive right now. Also, all of the materials have the same kind of specular/shine, which in real life is not the case. If you want to read some good material on anatomy, read books by Andrew Loomis or Burne Hogarth. Color theory, best book I've read so far is Color & Light by James Gurney. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I'm sure this will help me progress. Although it is very difficult to make certain textures in digital art.(I'm just starting) Anyway Thanks again and I will def have to look in to those reads you have suggested because I do want to improve. :)

Still better than the little I can do (Basically stick figure level design)

It's not really that difficult if you just look up a picture of say, leather, or cloth or metal.
All three have different reflective qualities and if you just search for a bit of reference you can observe it yourself.
There's no shame in looking up reference for painting. It's foolish not to. ;)

That's true. but I had no internets on the comp I drew that on lol... I wasn't getting any references. But, yes I shall observe more before I draw. (Unless that's the weird look I secretly and artisticly wanted ;) ... )

Also I did't mean it was hard, just harder in digital to create a decent texture than what I'm used to which is traditional.

If you have a physical version of something to look at, it's even better; being able to observe it at different angles and perspectives. Even if it's not the same colour, looking at how the light reflects off something can make the difference between a good looking picture or a composition where something looks off.

Good work though, keep at it.
