Yeah, I figured that was the best pattern go about it. The problem is that the 13 (first yellow) begins the first of an eight (cohesive) tap sequence, which means that pattern has to be executed faster than 32nds (and 32nds at that speed are already brutally fast as is). I've tried hitting a triple [134] to make the pattern 7 notes, but I'm always getting a good right on the triple due to not being able to time it right, and I can't piece the rest together anyway.

It's such a dickhead of a pattern, ugh. I can do everything else in this damn song, too.

EDIT: ninja'd by both, but both strats are represented, lol
EDIT 2: wait whoa, Eze's pattern looks nuts lmfao. the problem with the pattern is you're trying to force quads which means I have to get lucky enough to fit all four notes in those three frames whenever hit... might be worth trying, though.

If I had my Compaq working, I'd have made an isolation of that single burst a long time ago. ugh. Thanks guys.

Well the reason why I had to force quads with my pattern is that jumptrilling at that speed would probably **** me over (Can't time at that speed) and I can do a pretty decent transition from quadjacking to a jump. (1234, 1234 then 12)

Doesn't really work all the time, I get around 1 good average with that.

ps have you tried Mirror? File's easier that way imo.

...god I'm getting so sick and tired of all my Undiscovered Crap runs going to garbage because of the second half -- I was able to do it well and now I can't do it at all. I've hit the burst that I was having trouble with twice by taking a piece of Eze's idea ([134][23]) and changing it to suit my needs a bit ([12][34][12][34][12] instead of [1234][1234][12])...

It might be technically accurate, but put simply - Undiscovered Colors is quite possibly the least fun file in FFR (excluding vROFL) in my eyes... I'd much rather play Death Piano or RATO than this file. Hell, I'd even mind playing Revo more than this too.

The (12)(234)(12) pattern in the "bleach" is tough to do, man. :/

It's the same issue with 12 Bar Bloops: Don't let up in that sort of section until you KNOW it's over.
