Keyboard recommendations?

First thread in a while. So I want to get a new keyboard because I've had a membrane for a while and it just isn't working for me now. Any recommendations you guys have? Preferably want a 60% but anything else is also fine.

Thanks.

(P.S also give jack practice songs to play pls)

Which keyboard you buy is very much going to be personal preference. You've mentioned being on a membrane for quite some time so pretty much any mechanical keyboard will (most likely) feel like an improvement. I think many rhythm gamers go for either red switches (linear/no tactile bump) or brown switches (tactile bump). I noticed a slight speed increase moving from browns to reds, your results may vary.

Default answer to jack practice is Jackhammer Manifesto and use rates to get to the speed you want because it's 100 bpm so easy math. (lol) Around your current level.. Fish Hell, Nebula (the 66 difficulty), or even Fei Longer and many more..

Go here https://www.flashflashrevolution.com...=editsignature to edit your signature, total size of it has to be less than 800x350 pixels per the rules.

I use an Anne Pro 2 with Kailh Box Whites. Occasionally it double taps, probably as a result of custom firmware, but I've been very happy with it for VSRGs and otherwise.

If you're looking to keep it kind of cheap the Hyper X one with Aqua switches isn't bad, but I will say it's a bit more fragile than I'd like. I also would only recommend it if you think the blue clicky ones are good, but too noisy.

i went with a GMMK. only about $100 and fully modular, so if i slam my keys too hard in fiffer i can just swap out the switches instead of the entire keyboard.

I currently use a Corsair K70 MK.2 with brown. It's aight. Chatters more than I'd like (to the point where I have a program installed that'll delete chatters, but then it occasionally lag spikes).

I know a couple friends who have recently purchased the same keyboard and they're adoring it and doing quite well for themselves game wise. Their board is a GMMK, and I'll probably be going for one as well based off of their scores and recommendations. https://www.pcgamingrace.com/product...l-brown-switch

This is the board I'm using right now : https://kprepublic.com/collections/b...-type-c-planck

Highly recommended if you:
- are interested in ortholinear layout
- want to use qmk firmware for customization
- want to go even further than 60%
- already have keycaps and switches to use with it

Honestly, I couldn't believe how having less keys would make me more productive. There is a learning curve, but once you cross it, there is no going back.

i need to get a new keyboard cause im just using a standard membrane keyboard. but yeah anything mechanical might help you in the long run. membrane keyboards have a history of sometimes not registering a key when a lot of inputs made
