i never really got into spyro as a kid, but i'll def get this because i miss this style of adventure game. looks good!

I saw this today on Facebook and actually started crying because I’m so overwhelmed and happy. Spyro is my absolute favourite. I love him so much. I own so many games and beat the first three with my neighbour when we were kids!
I also have so much merch because of his feature in skylanders and honestly Im blown away by these graphics!! I am so glad. I want a Spyro onesie.

i'm just worried that they'll try and unify the mechanics across all 3 games. between the original spyro 1 and 2 + 3, their mechanics are incomparable with each other

could lead to some rushed work and untested mechanics like they did with the crash remake

still preordered the game because i plan to speedrun it anyway :mrgreen:

You can probably count on it tbh. They will likely use the same engine for all 3 games, which will most probably translate to unified mechanics :(

Spyro 1 was the one of the first games I ever got 100% on, there were 2 dragons that took me weeks to reach when I was a child ><

As someone who speedran the originals (I'm not dest tho), I actually like how the remake looks and am looking forward to it!! It looks sick so far

I played the first one a little bit when I was a kid, but I'll definitely look into this. And I love the updated character designs for everyone too

probably for the best. they just started showing off stuff in spyro 2 almost a month ago(?) and just touching on spyro 3.

getting those 2 done within the next month wouldn't bear well for quality, so i'm glad they're not trying to rush it out the door.
