And before anyone asks, the token is working, I've tested.

if we meet the token qualifications already with an old score, do we get the token or do we have to do it again

can never remember

I don't comprehend why it needed a V2 in the first place. To be honest I'm going to dislike this file for this reason alone. It's not even drastically different difficulty wise. This chart can (probably) best be equated to sloppy seconds. I can't see the actual chart due to my personal lack of skill / the fact the replay bot won't work because again lack of personal skill (why is this by the way it seems counter productive?)

I'd like to be more fair, but really I see no reason to be.The fact is, it shouldn't be in game due to being remarkably similar alone right? Last I checked that was the reason two songs in the same batch tend to not get accepted, and I recall this being a rule of V2s as well. So what gives? Why does this exist in game?

Like if this chart was a difficulty 50 or something I wouldn't care at all, but the fact they're only 5 apart really kinda indicates they can't be that different aside from the blistering use of hands and patterns that me cringe.

Note: keep in mind I'm not even commenting on the chart. I don't even know what it looks like. (The part at the end is speculation due to the note count being 950 which is a bit over 100 more than the original.) I'm not insulting anyone, just using a wall of text to ask a question.

If it was 22 or fewer misses plus boos, that's something I could look forward to getting. (So a score of X-X-4-15 would get it.)

But 2 misses AND 2 boos, goddamn.

(@choof: The policy has always been you gotta do it again.)

What a bit harsh req, only a select few will even get to play that because grind2 is balls in the first place. and yeah im kinda wondering what middie is, why do we basically have another grind2 in the game now? Shouldnt it be alot easier?

By the way, shouldn't Caelumize technically be marked as [Heavy] since Hi19's easier chart is queue'd as well?

EDIT: Also, neurocore is actually what genre it was called in the BMS chart.

I'll append a tag when hi19's is released don't worry.

My understanding is that Dossar's grind2 was accepted because blu's is just...really messy and pretty bad. Dossar's chart is structured very differently and as such, is much more playable despite having a higher notecount, but it's still at least a mid-FGO (AJ even thinks I'm slightly undercutting its true difficulty at 83). The req is fitting given the difficulty of the chart, anyone who's at least mid-high D5 can unlock it.

It just seemed weird to not mark it now since we already know it's getting in eventually. No big deal, just curious.

void himself gave that genre. He often puts his songs as Neurocore or Filmscore, although typically a lot of his music is trance.

For those wondering about grind2 v2, it is composed substantially differently than the original file -- it [the original] was heavily reliant on bursts, had a number of incorrect/arbitrary BPM structures and changes, and more importantly, was incredibly spiky in multiple areas due to absolutely ridiculous patterning. For those of you that haven't unlocked it, take a look at the differences in difficulty: grind2 v1 is an 88 in difficulty, but grind2 v2 is an 83 that manages to be considerably more fluent and jam in another 100 steps as well.

It feels very different and actually tests a different technique than the original, making it a bit more warranted as a v2.

mid-high D5. Incredibly spiky. Ridiculous patterns.

And you want guys like me to pull off an X-X-2-2.

For anyone that hasn't seen the thread of my frame fixes on grind2 v1 you should take a look at it:

http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...d.php?t=128799

grind2 v1 is mostly single notes (which is why the notecount is lower), while grind2 v2 has more structured layering and has less logical absurdities with BPM changes (the original had a lot of unnecessary BPM changes that were even wrong at times). Both files are still hard, but the way they are structured are very different.

See I'm satisfied with this explanation. Thank you :D

Except I'd like to point out there's no way to grasp the fluency of a chart when we don't have it. Previews only work when you have the chart, and you can't use a preview to completely grasp fluency :D
