And Silvuh.

@Gundam and Rebound: skip my "Another day" file; I made a significantly different chart that I'll submit next batch

Date you mean? Well, the deadline for judges to submit files is by the end of the month (31st). Just wait a bit.

ETA is "estimated time of arrival" haha.

Even if batch is closed, can I send files in now and they'll get put in the next up and coming batch?

Yes, they will get into the next upcoming batch, but it will take some time until the next batch will be reviewed

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2

Actually I believe JX and bmah said they don't want new submissions being sent until the batch is reopened again. But resubmissions can be sent in anytime.

I'm bored. BRB finishing my notes.

Also, i think that the deadline shouldn't be set for so long because some of the judges won't even touch the files until the deadline date starts to get close. I think setting it to at most two weeks should be good enough rather then setting it to nearly a month.

Yeah, you'd get notes a lot faster if it was set for two weeks (with anyone who can't finish in time being hurried along or replaced with a backup).

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2

Set date is pretty much to control the rate of files available and released, I'm fairly sure.

This used to be the case, but now submissions are only accepted when there's an actual opening date.

2 weeks is a bit tights. 2.5 or 3 weeks would be good though

I started working on notes the day I got the files but got distracted with some other stuff. Trying to finish up but for some reason sm is lagging like hell on my comp. But I'll probably be finished later tonight or tomorrow if I can get this thing running right.

by doing that, we have to lower the acceptance rate (making judgement much stricter) or raise song release rate/frequency (like 10 files/week, which is obviously too much).

Some people would like that haha
(Me, me!)

It would get tedious to keep up with however.

Whats wrong with at least 1 file a day? Its possible and I dont see why its a bad thing.

we'd run out of files pretty quick

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2

I don't see any merit in releasing files everyday constantly, just difficult to keep doing.

It only works for event time.
