See, I would post a Slashmaid score under the title "Sex Ed"
Even though it's an instrumental version we all know what's going on, sorta like how all the sex ed classes glossed over shit but everyone knew they what they were talking about.

Problem is I'm not good enough to FC Slashmaid rofl well i could mash but i dont want any more mashed scores on my levelranks rip combo scoring

rayword45 12-4-2014 05:36 PM

Re: [SponCon #123ABC] Prescribed Learning Outcomes

^There must be a handful of songs about sex easier than Slashmaid

And so you step with the arch bridge, point to every zenith,
say that gravity’s smart. You settle stones just like a genius,
but I’ve seen this tumble like crumbs from Cookie’s lips.
The aqueducts no longer seem to irrigate worth spit.

For science, approximate combo: 102

Re: [SponCon #123ABC] Prescribed Learning Outcomes

not sure if video game culture & story education in gaming counts, but here you go.

starts at combo 9.

"Link. He come to town. Come to save! The princess Zelda!
Gannon took it away, now the children don't play,
But they will, when Link saves the day
HALLELUJAH
Now Link, Fill up your hearts,
So you can shoot, Your sword of Power!
And when you're feeling all down,
The valley will come around,
So you'll be brave, and not just simply cower!

Now Link, has saved the day!
But Gannon, Took you granted.
So now our hero is free, and now our hero shall be,
Link, your name shall go down into history!"

Also rayword: I think you only get one entry for the token...

Re: [SponCon #123ABC] Prescribed Learning Outcomes

Starts at combo 0.

"Popularity. What is it made of?
How does a person get to be popular with lots of people, and have a few close friends too?
Let's watch and see, what makes people like one person and not another...

...Jimmy thinks that she has the key to popularity.
Parking in cars with the boys at night.
When Jerry brags about taking Jimmy out, he learns that she dates all the boys.
and he feels less important.
What about Jimmy? Does that make her really popular,
to the boys and girls that like her?
Is she welcome to join this group?"

Submission Rules

If you want to submit files for FFR, please follow those rules, or your file might be auto-rejected.

--- SUBMISSION ---
1. As an FFR submission, you must include an .sm file with an .mp3 in the submission folder. (If possible, including .dwi is recommended. You need Stepmania Editor [version 4.0 or older] to save .dwi files.)
2. Your file should be compressed with .zip or .rar format, and a folder is needed in your zip/rar file.
3. The name of the folder (and .zip/.rar file) should be songname (username). e.g. [Magical 8bit Tour (jimerax)]. The song artist's name should not be in the folder name.
4. The music artist should be credited in the .sm/.dwi file.
5. One file/one e-mail is recommended, but you can submit multiple files in one e-mail. Please note that if you send multiple files and exceed your cap in a single e-mail, we will PM you to ask which file you would like dropped. Otherwise, a file will be dropped randomly. You need to include only one file in a .zip/.rar file (do not send multiple simfiles in ONE .zip/.rar file).

--- SONG ---
6. You can only use songs that we have permission, so check it on permission thread before you step/submit.
7. Use the MP3 format for the song file. The bit rate of the MP3 should be 128kbps at least, 160kbps or higher preferably. If the MP3 meets the bit rate requirement but the original sound quality is bad, we may require a better MP3.
8. If you only use a part of the mp3 for stepping, cut unstepped parts of the mp3 to reduce the size of the .swf file.
9. The interval from the beginning to the part you put the first note of the song should be 2 or more seconds. If it's not, insert silence in the beginning of the song (or some notes in the beginning will be cut). If your accepted file doesn't have enough length of silence in the beginning when it's needed, your file will moved to conditional queue. If you don't know how to add silence, refer to this thread.

--- SIMFILE ---
10. Graphics are not required. You should not include cdtitles in the submissions, having banners and BGs is ok but these just increase the file size. If you want to add a BG in the .swf ask us after your file is accepted, and we will judge if the BG is appropriate.
11. Multiple difficulties (only 1 difficulty/1 file allowed), Freezes, Mines, and Rolls are NOT allowed, so don't include them in your submissions. If you want to submit multiple difficulties for one song, submit them as separated files.
12. The difficulty should be one of Light, Standard, Heavy, or Challenge. Don't use Beginner and Edit.
13. Hands (triples and quads) are allowed, but be careful to not use hands too much (especially on easier songs). There are many players who generally do not like hands.
14. You can use any (4th - 192nd) notes and BPM changes, but you cannnot use stops.
15. It should be a simfile that is fun to play for you and others, goes well to the song, captures all its themes and variations, and has been confirmed to be on sync on a low music rate.

More social studies

When faith alone is not enough,
To keep our heads barely above,
We look for reason and come up empty-handed.
And when our children fight our wars,
While we sit back just keeping score,
We're teaching murder not understanding now.

The rest of the songs applies too because it's all the same damn message, these guys think they're way more political than they are.

Re: [SponCon #123ABC] Prescribed Learning Outcomes

Starts at combo 1.

lyrics:

NES at the Shack is how I first got down,
Pops got a job, moved the fam to Sea-town,
checkin BBS's for my warez and porn,
around this time the mafia was born,
spendin mad hours getting buff in lord,
get with the tavern ho, show off my long sword,
couple years later, hit the Hotline scene,
waitin in queue is where I've never been seen,
got hooked up with fat accounts,
get my shit fast and in large amounts,
use my Cyrix chip to cook my meals,
laugh all you want, I'll own yo ass at Whacky Wheels,
got my emulators and a couple thousand ROMs
and all the F-Kiss from blah blah dot com,
now we got Torrents and bandwidth up to our necks,
looking back's crazy, but I wonder what's next

back in the day, Shufflepuck Cafe,
banner ads, gettin paid, ICQ, gettin laid,
back in the day, we knew Sulu was gay,
munchin numbers, runnin lodes, monochrome displays

back in the day, System 7.5,
had HyperCard stacks on my SyQuest drive,
once I got a modem I was never fuckin bored,
always dialin up a BBS to play me some LORD,
I stole my school's dial-up to get the internet,
had a copy of Ircle and no regrets,
chillin in #macfilez, leechin on bots,
it took nine years to get a download spot,
hours and hours, makin Marathon maps,
always on the run cause I set it to caps,
eventually I got a brand new Power Mac,
so fuckin fast, I almost had a heart attack,
ran a Hotline server on my school's T1,
"Win Ben Stein's Warez" was the name of that one,
Quake 3 Test in the computer lab,
never went to class cause that shit was a drag

back in the day, crusin through the DOS prompt
a litte modem action I got anything I want,
Blake Stone or some Duke 3D,
IPX Lan, dont fuck with me,
back in the day we had four buttons man,
Gravis GamePad til we lost our tan,
ZZT, where I made my first game,
shit was mad hot till Click n Play came,
up in the attic, it's Jumpin Flash,
all day long till a PlayStation crash,
pirated Thrill Kill, what a waste of time,
now I get why they trashed that crime,
we got nerd history, stories for days,
spit it how I lived it til this shit pays,
so back up off if you question the cred,
OG nerds, we'll cut off your head

back in the day, shit was the best,
I pirated Duke Nukem off a BBS,
a pimp with a 486 dx, deuce,
double piped to increase my juice,
Halloween Harry and Commander Keen,
nowadays, it seems like a wonderful dream
up in school, I'm on the LC 2s,
used the backdoor to drop right outta Foolproof
then one day, there was the internet,
and anything I wanted, I could easily get,
anytime I wanted A-double-P-Z,
just connect to H-O-T-L-I-N-E
click the banner, fourth word, seventh line,
log in and anything I wanted was mine,
I started up a server called "Industrial Strength,"
and got sued by the R-I-double-A,
but I was born into a new world of computers,
and we became the new generation of looters,
but I said it before, and I'll say it again,
it's like bein high just rememberin'
