Hahaha, true enough. It is a really fun file though, I'm not just saying that because it's my file. Plus it would get dubstep into FFR.

Then how do you become known if you keeping [-] because you're not known? Paradox

Hoping for notes tomorrow btw.

Well we'd all hope so because tomorrow is the deadline XD

If someone doesn't hand in their notes by the deadline, what happens? Just curious. Do we just keep waiting?

Now less than 30 hours left until the judgement deadline.

2 judges haven't done it yet, right? (and want to hear from them about current state).

The silly thing is I started them the day we got them and I didn't finish up. All I really have left is the resubmits. I'll have them in no worries.

Well I'm more concerned about Silvuh, since he hardly posts anymore. At least I know you're active.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2

Judging things at the last minute is just meh =/

PS: This is why i suggested that we make the deadline shorter so that people don't have to wait for a month JUST to see if their file got accepted or rejected.

PS2: Yes, I'm aware why you're making the deadline so long so don't think i didn't get that point but a whole month just to judge some files? Really?

New batch experiment: 3 weeks instead of 4 weeks

See how many judges still do things last minute ?_?

cedolad 01-30-2011 08:21 PM

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2

Doing things last minute is the best though. You're more set on finishing it.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2

If that's the case, then why not shorten it to 3 weeks to observe if the same thing happens?

**** it, make it 2 weeks. Week and a half sounds better.

Three weeks instead of a month is a perfect test to see if the judges will do the same thing on the next batch. Two weeks seems way too sudden.

Tell that to my English teachers then.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2

IMO taking it in smaller steps is better. 2 weeks is way too big of a jump since it's HALF the amount of time lmfao
