TWG XCIV: worst game ever POSTGAME
so i'm super frustrated about a lot of things, mostly because this game had so much potential.
first, i should have definitely put warning for posting in my blue, not modkill, because yeah accidents happen. i just honestly didnt think it would be a problem. there goes the master wolf, there goes the game. next: gun and syhto didnt send in anything nights one or two. finally syhto sent in a block and kill on night three , but zoshi pulled out the guard. humans did not earn this game. this game was thrown. the thing that makes it so frustrating to me, is that this is by far one of the most active games i've seen in years, and there was a lot of really good stuff going on in thread. my mistake with zoshi didnt really do anything but prove him innocent, which i am fine with because syhto had no chance at that point, and had zoshi claimed guard earlier, syhto would have already been prime suspect numero uno. anyways, i want to host another c9++ in the near future, because like i said, activity this game was unparalleled, and that makes me happy. |

Either way, V had kraut and gun dead to rights. I think we would have won either way.
It was a lot of fun to play this though, it'd been a long time since I played a game this active. I would definitely like to play with you all again. |

Personally I thought my read on james was pretty solid.

yeah i just rolled (randomly) way too many power roles for a wolf team that could get nothing done.

I'd be cool with that. Wolves had a rough situation regardless with the roles in play, but it was made impossible by a useless wolf team. Kraut's mistake is nothing compared to the apathy and inactivity of the wolf team.

Yeah, I'd like to think I had a good read on Gun as well, as he was the only post on my spreadsheet that I put a "LOOK HERE!" asterisk before.

so a couple things i'm thinking about changing for the next time i host a c9++:
1. 96/120 hour days. i'm not sure about this one, i guess the idea behind it is that the longer we make days, the more time there is to get to a real lynch, and not just pile on at the last seconds of the day for the sake of getting a lynch. mafiascum has a three week day, and i've never played there, but the few games i've looked at it looks like lynches happen at around a week. i dont want our days to last a week, but i think the idea of overshooting so that we actually have time is worth considering. i just dont want it to kill activity. 2. 48 hour nights. i think it's reasonable for the wolves to only take 24 hours, but i dont want what happened this game to happen again. i also dont want the game pace to get slowed down too much. basically i would have 12 hour nights if i knew that everyone could handle it. 3. gonna change host text typing to a warning and possible modkill depending on usage. (trying to impersonate = modkill, accident = warning) 4. roll more balanced roles next time #getlucky |

yeah the reason i said that was because this game had so much going for it. had kraut not been modkilled and had the wolves used their roles, it would have been a great game... it had SO MUCH ACTIVITY, and so much potential, and then was ruined for the least good reasons.

honestly i want to get feedback on day and night times, and start another c9++ right now.
needless to say Gun isn't going to be playing, and syhto should probably sit one out. |
