Use own hosted image for header/bg
I gave this some thought today, and now I'm going to throw it out to the FFR public to get an opinion. I think that instead of forcing us to upload the header/bg to FFR's server with a size cap, we should also be able to specify an off-site URL.
I don't know how it would work out, which is why it's just a suggestion. ;) |

I don't like the size cap on the backgrounds, it limits my options for epic backgrounds... I had more in my current one, but I had to cut stuff out to reduce the size........... |

Also they lose their quality.

Re: Use own hosted image for header/bg
I talked to an admin about this and he sites security as a big reason for not allowing outside URLs. For example, someone could have the "image" point to a script that sets a cookie on the user's computer. It's just safer for FFR and everyone on it to have the site have full control over what is shown.
