How many Pads have you gone through?
 

Its official. Today my latest pad that i bought has gone dead on me. It was a plastic one so im not surprised. Hopefully ill get a better quality pad sometime in the future. I have a question for everyone: Since you started playing ddr, sm etc, how many pads have died on you?

I've gone through over 20 pads before I bought a machine.

3 pads and I'm planning on making my 4th a Cobalt Flux.

I've only went through one, since I have a place with two Supernova's and an ITG2 about ten minutes away.

i have gone through about 6... however, last year i got a Cobalt Flux, and it is the best thing ever. Totally invincible. It is beautiful. Extremely sensitive, thin, and good looking... only problem is the price= 400$.

get one. save up. they rock.

Got 2 soft pads for Christmas one year, they died pretty quickly and I sorta stopped playing pad. Then I started to play in the arcade and then decided to get a Cobalt Flux.

I've only gone through one, and technically, it wasn't me. My friend David stomps pretty badly, and he broke my up arrow.

That's how my cheap metal pad went the up arrow stopped responding :(

Three pads and then said "screw it".

One of my irl friend's who lives upstate has a red octane when it was pretty popular, I envy him.

I've gone through 2 and am on my third. I survived on a pair of plastic pads by duct-taping them to a wooden panel and they lasted about 4 years. 0_0

gone through three cheap plastic and one ignition, been on my ignition now for nearly a year

yea i've gotten only 4...my latest one is falling appart at one of the sides but the buttons work so im still using it...i need money >.<

I've gone through 2 soft pads until I got the RO Afterburner. Both of them were the Ignition pads (one for each version).

None of my pads broke... I just decided they sucked.
Cheap $20 something
Smushy foam wtf
Harder foam pretty good
Metal something with bar, pretty good.

Yeah, I really don't know the names of them.

3 the first one got screw up on the frst day(when i played on light) my second one was one of those 80$ plastic pads and the third one was a pad that came with a game that my friend gave me, but right now i have have a meal pad and it works good execpt my bottom arrrow arlready cracked:(

I just bought 2 machines. First machine was Itg. Then I noticed an Itg2 and upgraded it. When Supernova came out I bought another machine for that and regular DDRE2 as a second update source.

I've had 3 Konami pads and 1 Mad Catz pad.

The Mad Catz one was horrid, the Konami ones lasted about a year each.

I recently bought a RedOctane Afterburner, and it works like a charm so far.
