D2 is not a 30. Beginning of the song is D1 territory, and the ending half of the song is on par with Indigo, with the only difference being that it's a constant stream, compared to the triples and seven-long streams of 16th notes. And it's not that long, so length isn't an excuse for it's high difficulty. This song screams 25 or 26 to me.

Re: 10th Official Tournament - Round 2 Songs

D5 is the most fun midrange light JS file in the game currently.
Comparing it to outdated files in that range like EHHS or even more modern files like 0 (piano version), it's pretty obvious to me that Yodeler stands out above them.

Just right length, fitting and flowing patterns, hilarious song. 10/10 would play again even though I AAA'd
Been really happily surprised with gameboy's files this tournament, keep up the great stuff! :)

I have yet to play since loading the standalone player is taking ages right now, I will tell you how I feel about D3 shortly. Looks difficult though.

Re: 10th Official Tournament - Round 2 Songs

shipuunjirai is really fun, wow. ending isn't nearly as tough as it looks, although that right handed trill with left handed anchors is pretty lel. chart demands mad control, and the ending 24th stream plays wonderfully.

gonna play the others

Re: 10th Official Tournament - Round 2 Songs

shippuujinbmah looks like it would be really bmahy but actually there's only really like 2 parts that are actually as bmahy as they look and overall it feels like a bmah file without playing like a really bmahy bmah file

Definitely among my most favorite out of bmah's recent bmahs.

Re: 10th Official Tournament - Round 2 Songs

IMO D7 should probably get knocked down to an 80. It's barely any harder than Pandemonium (if anything Shippujinrai is arguably easier to AAA). Predicting AAA or die this round.

Re: 10th Official Tournament - Round 2 Songs

imo the only bmahy parts were the intro and the polyrhythms

Tomorrow Untrodden is both an amazing song and file. I plan on getting a foot video of it at some point (it's fully indexable!)

warm sea was stepped by Silvuh for clarification. Did anyone else notice the level 2222 on Tomorrow Untrodden?

Capoeira Sundance tho... goddamned masterpiece
those trills will probably make this file one of the more memorable files on ffr

Re: 10th Official Tournament - Round 2 Songs

Ok, major apologies, but the D7 file isn't the right version uploaded.
We won't change the file at all for the duration of the tournament, as that would compromise the round's integrity, but the changes will have to be made after the tournament. The only two ways I can see otherwise: 1) if the newer version has the exact same arrow count (which it doesn't), or 2) if the overwhelming majority of D7 players would prefer and agree to make changes sooner rather than later. The changes aren't major, but does include an additional four arrows.

Would like to hear from you guys.

Also, D1's song is made by Silvuh.

Rat Twist is a really really fun song. The patterns are really forgiving in some places. But it feels overstepped.

Re: 10th Official Tournament - Round 2 Songs

D2: This is one of Benn's best songs. Great file, not sure if it's really fitting for the tournament but D2 gets a nice deal out of it so it's all good.

D3: A+...but I'm not sure if I agree with all those 8th jumps when the wubs come in (2nd half section). The jump chains are just kinda bland and way too heavy because there's no distinction between the kick-enhanced ones and the just kinda normal wubs. Still though, this was really fun and D3's certainly going to get a kick to the nuts, the difficulty's quite a big step up from Session.

D4: Very pleasant and clean file, not much to say other than that~

D5: A+, and I have no buts this time. Except for the fact that this file's going to get me eliminated, I have ~zero~ things to say. I'll be replaying this often.

D6: Fitting that it's here, another excellent file to cap off an excellent week

Haven't tried D1 or D7.
