Because it's La Crampanella, that's a pretty respectable score, but it's the score of someone who could get much better if they played out of their comfort zone more.

Zekram: According to your sig you have a 4-0-1-0 Adult's Sketchbook. I'm willing to bet you could obliterate that Cette Annee with a few more plays.

Wow a lot of those AAA's require a lot of consistency, I don't think I have any of those (even the 8's)

Also I think you tied my jelly roll blues and my rocket flight, so go beat those so I can go back to saying you're better than me again.

Also, I'd venture we're equal with you having a slight advantage, while yes these require a deal of consistency, they're not really all that ridiculously hard. Survive is all about reading and knowing where the awkward parts are for example. The issue I ran into for the longest time was training my brain to know good times to blink. Once I did that longer songs are easier, but they just have more time for nerves to kick in.

the way I aaa long songs or any song pretty much for that matter is I turn off my accuracy/combo

I highly recommend that for anyone with nerves, assuming you know where your perfect window is pretty well without seeing it

It's counter productive to turn them off if you ask me, the worry of obtaining one without knowing is worse than knowing you haven't gotten one yet.

i turn off combo, but i have to keep accuracy on because that's how i judge timing for my notes :p

Man, this song brings back memories. This is the one song I used to whore a lot when I still played 1 handed, cause it was super challenging and a really good song too. I'm running down my 8s trying to clear out the shitty ranks. Happy I got this one out of the way :)

Edit5: A fun one, this one could be a 9. It has some pretty fast 24th bursts and the stream isn't the easiest thing for an 8.


Edit6: This one is pretty hard. Really awkward patterns, and the speed is just in the middle of that slow enough to be consistent or fast enough to be accurate, so it ends up super awkward. I don't like this one too much. Could be a 9 as well.

The problem with this that I have is I can still see the raw score when I'm playing on velocity's engine and I end up using that to find out if it's a AAA or not (by looking to see if the score ends with a 5 or a 0), which is even more distracting then just glancing to see the color of my combo.

I could just not glance at it, but I'm terrible at breaking habits >.<

@Maxghost: nice job getting rid of less talk more rokk, especially since you were probably mindblocked on it to death. That one haunts me to this day >.<

oh yea I hide raw score too, you just need to slide your taskbar over the raw score so it covers it.

Edit: I have 75 plays on this song. I used to whore the crap out of this one too when I was a beginner.

Edit3: OSTER Project is the best multi-genre group thing I've ever heard. Seriously. Electro Rush is one of the best songs of it's genre in the game, easily. Happy to AAA it :D
