Re: so i made a tutorial video
Bro I can't watch youtube videos but like, I'm imagining this is just like your joke auto recorded charts, that you make appear as viruses for god knows why.
If you actually made a guide on how to analyze a songs BPM, layer, etc, good work. |
re
I'm sorry I don't know what you're talking about dingleberry.

Re: so i made a tutorial video
And all this time I've been using DDReam, thinking it could help me make songs faster. FUCK.

Re: so i made a tutorial video
I watched it at home, honestly I like your voice i think it's nice for guides
That being said, honestly call me crazy but Ctrl+r seems pretty fun, and there's definitely a skill to it... I feel like it would actually be possible to make good charts this way, but there's some limitations, obviously.. An analogy is that it is like a music recording studio. They don't just play the entire song in one take and call it a day (unless ur nas on ny state of mind - too strong), you would really need to focus on the song and do a lot of "takes", perhaps even manually go in and edit parts or doing complex stuff the normal way. The second issue is that you are charting as you hear the notes.. Notes have patterns, the tones ascend and descend - when you just chart by playing, you can't predict this, which is why even though its the same pattern the whole song and your keys are on time, the patterns you actually chart make no sense... Honestly, this could be a skill, but I don't think it's realistic to expect to be able to associate pitch -> a certain finger reflex, who knows though... On second thought, Ctrl r is awful and I just got baited. |

Re: so i made a tutorial video
It's a tutorial video on how to make a ctrl+r file obviously
|
Re: so i made a tutorial video
Also if you want to ctrl+r a song I recommend downloading DDReam and making your files in there because it has 92nds and 128ths and not just 64ths. Would make it 100% more 'colorful'.

Re: so i made a tutorial video
there shouldnt be a tutorial for how to chart.
i push waterfowl into ponds, do a little dance around a circle of untamed dandies, touch my tongue to the nearest rock, hold it there for 73 seconds, and throw my laptop into oncoming traffic to make my files. everyone has their way. |
Re: so i made a tutorial video
I wonder what would happen if people decided to try to make a pack like that for the laughs.
#jammin' I mean, it's been a while since I played songs like Story of Snowman and Sunshine Girl. |

Re: so i made a tutorial video
Hey dipshit you forgot to download OBS so you can at least use something other than a crappy camera for your shitty inaccurate tutorial.
Edit: Actually upon reflection, this post isn't as funny if OBS doesn't work on XP. |
