Also, gunshotamy is right. We don't know her. We don't know who she is, whether she is a sad, depressed person or even some meth-head. Everyone here (including me) is judging her based on her profile, which looks emo-esque. Whether she is emo or not, we can't know.

Who cares what emo is? This thread should be locked, simply because it leads to nowhere and the topic starter can't even defend herself, much less come up with a solid argument to even do so.

Then why bother making a rant thread about this? Emo is a label, all you emos out there are just going to have to learn to live with it and if you can't then go find a razor blade. Oh...I read this wrong the first time...

Emo is a lable of people who cut themselves. Also some people do like to dress emo like. I usually wear a black t-shirt with some band on it and a darkblue-black pair of jeans with black shoes and I have black hair (not dyed). However people who dress in all black but have their hair over one eye and just look depressed can be easily mistakened for an emo as that is the "emo look". You can't fight social trends. If you like the way you look don't change yourself but if people call you emo just sarcastically you cut yourself in some way.

FINALLY!! thank you god, emo is a music genre. i'm so sick and tired of people calling others emo just cuz they have black flippy hair or their cat scratched them, i mean come on. we have names, why wear a mask through labels?
