Song Permission

I just got permission from a YouTube user that creates music to use his Jingle Bells Hardstyle mix on FFR, and I've been stepping it for a bit now. Just thought I would throw this out there so the admins/judges/whoever could see it, and that way if I am missing something I need I can get it before I try to submit. It's the 2008 Jingle Bells Mix, link here. It's probably going to be around a 6 or 7.

Here is an SS of the message exchange lol. I'm not going to rant and rage here though I kind of want to. (See first paragraph of my message)

Any thoughts or comments?

I'm not too concerned about the time, if it doesn't get in til next year simply because it is Christmas themed I'd be a little bummed, but I guess that is fine. I like the song, and I'm hoping to get it in game, whether it's in summer, fall, or next winter I guess.

Well, I didn't post it in that thread for the simple fact that (although I am sure we could) I didn't ask for blanket permission of any sort, I only asked him if I could step his Jingle Bells Mix. If there is interest, I can ask for a blanket permission, but until then, I'm not going to bother.

Just didn't seem like the melodies fit with the chord progressions and stuff.

I get what you are talking about, but it doesn't bother me enough to ruin the song for me. I still like it. We'll see what FFR thinks of it if it gets in. Hah..
