What a crazy start to the season. Lamar Jackson gets 8 TDs for Louisville (who won with 70 points) in the first half against Charlotte, Appalachian State takes Tennessee to overtime, and Elliott Fry kicks a 55-yard field goal to lead South Carolina to victory over Vanderbilt.

I think this year is gonna be really entertaining.

What do you guys think about the CFP right now? I think it should be at least 8 teams, that way the power 5 conferences all get in and there's 3 at-large bids for other good programs.

tl;dr it's more exciting when every game matters (eg. michigan is kicked out because of osu) and when its incredibly difficult to get in.

my personal opinion is they should just go "fuck it" and make it a massive bracket a la march madness, but that's probably not gonna work for football. i feel it's unfair that minor conference teams like WMU who go unbeaten are still ranked below 4 loss SEC teams like Auburn just because of their conference and schedule.

Yeah, NCAAF is great as long as you don't mind watching redneck elephants win everything all the time.
