Sorry for the delay. Just checked the e-mail again today, and it's a good thing I did, 'cause there was a file in the spam folder I didn't notice earlier.

Trying something a little different. Here are the September-October 2014 files by step author (with collabs at the end):

62 files, likely plus a few more whenever resubmissions for July/August happen. So it's a three-set batch now instead of just two.

Oh, also, conditionally queued files and resubmission privileges for May/June are set to expire at the end of today. I didn't send out PMs to people when the deadline was set or give any earlier warning, so I'll give a little leeway this time. Starting with the July/August batch, I'll be PMing people whose files get conditionally queued or get resubmission privilege when the ratings are out, and I'll send a one-week notice for files that have not yet been sent in again before privileges expire.

Not trying to direct blame away from me, but I am not associated with FFR staff.
The second the shit show with the stepcon ended I distanced myself to let those who are in charge take over.

I didn't answer because I didn't know, and was never connected with those who did the batch files.

If it's still my fault, I'm sorry.

"as a result of Stepcon, AJ is queueing Spinal Fluid Explosion Girl and rog is queueing _______ (STILL DONT FUCKING KNOW WHAT HE CHOSE HINT HINT)"

AJ please I asked at LEAST 3 times:

(see how i get increasingly ticked off as the posts go on? Now I'm fucking legit angry)

It would take like, 2 seconds to confirm which songs were queued from the competition, that's all i was asking...
instead i get to waste 2 months waiting for another submission slot.

And it's not even the slot that bothers me, it's the principle of it:
Nobody tells me then you expect to just slide the files into the queue like
"oh sorry haha nobody told you, guess it sucks to be you doesnt it"

Yeah just as you made that post, I had done a post search to find those exact posts and was about to post them. I also made at least one myself, and there was never any answer.

I don't think it's fair that you get to queue your stepcon file over a month after the contest's conclusion, and after two other people submitted their file, and after people asked more than three times if anybody wanted to queue their file.

Post from phone because my corded connection picked the worst time to be a butt.

AJ already said it was a decision he only just made (and retracted). This came as a surprise to me, too. I submitted my file for that song, too, but under the Japanese name. Believe me, with how much we care about our files for this song, I would have said something if I knew what was happening. But I never saw emails related to the Stepcon in the inbox.

PS, so now what should be done with the Wheelpower & Go files in the batch? Should they be allowed to compete? The Stepcon reward really doesn't prohibit it how it was written. But if they need to be removed, the steppers will get some time to determine a replacement.

True, I just hated how I handled the event, and hoped that others could do it way better then I could have ever done. So you are right.
It was a bit selfish for me to say that so I do apologize. After that event I passed everything to those 'actually' in charge so I don't fuck up things even more then what I did.

It's not really your fault. There isn't blame here that can be singularly assigned to anyone. The stepcon queuing prizes were entirely unclear as to a period of time they would be valid for, but at the same time it can be agreed that after this long without any claim, that they should be forfeited if somebody else put effort into their chart and submitted it.

He hasn't, and the stepcon queuing prizes should have some sort of expiration period, becuase >5 weeks is more than enough time to prepare/fix a file and way too long to hold back all other prospective steppers.
