Fixed, and play tested to ensure it was the right chart. Your disgrace and lowly nature knows no bounds Prawnskunk...

still heavy for me, though it displays the difficulty for the oni chart

Late reply so oops.

But what you're doing is offering SM files with almost none of the intricacies left in tact. Ossa files lose all of their charm. Rogdor files lose all of their charm. Any file with gimmicks becomes just a standard chart. All theory, besides color theory, is literally lost in translation. Do you think files like Moches' Toki, Rogdor's Born This Way, or my Bridgeport Run play the same on FFR as they do on SM? The answer is no.

That's why some of us are kinda mad at this. A lot of these files were made with SM in mind. I just hope that people will download SM and play these files like they were meant to be played.

It works, yes.

How are you trying to run it? Give a little more info and we can help you get it running for you if it's not already.

At the same time the idea for a lot of us using this engine is "Oh I've ALREADY PLAYED THESE ALL ON STEPMANIA MANY TIMES" So now I'm taking the work I did on SM, and with the charts I've more or less learned I'm much more comfortably able to transition to FFR where quite frankly I have more fun than on SM, to me, and many others who already play SM lots, this is a godsend and we fucking love it. Also for the sake of genre bias and for the sake of lower difficulties I suggested SulferDragons Astronomic Metal Collection 1-2 as they're great on SM, and great for lower leveled players who want to learn some of the harder patterns as they climb their way up in skill.

Can we make the difficulties accurate? I know we kept the stepmania ones, but we don't get to see the radius wheel or hear the clip.
1-20 ffr system

1-20 ffr system

Do you know how long it would take to do this...?

and it would be TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY worth it. right now the difficulties make no sense whatsoever to someone who doesnt play SM.

Honestly, I want to see 1-15 difficulties.

It's going to be a bit of a pain to play through the files we don't know difficulty off by heart and then accurately rate them though..

Yeah, thats the thing :/

Re: FFRMania Engine: 1500+ songs and counting!

We would need a lot of people to go through and write the file and the difficulty (1-15) that they believe is correct and we could then go through and take a look..?

Wouldn't want a bunch of spam posts for like 1 or 2 songs though haha

SK8R43 11-8-2013 03:18 PM

Re: FFRMania Engine: 1500+ songs and counting!

Im not sure if 1-15 WOULD work though. since alot of them would be 14-15 anyways but yeah thats what we would need to do for sure. Makes it faster at least
