Day start. 48-hour day phases and 24-hour night phases. All phase changes will be at 11:00 PM server time.

Nightkill distinction off: posts from the host about nightkills will not include information on who made each kill
Full cardflips

Wolfchat is 24/7
No-lynch on for nonconsecutive days
Night actions are all optional and won't be randomed if unused
I'll accept actions any way you send them to me

Wolf kills are assigned: someone on the wolf team has to take charge of making the kill. This kill then can only be prevented by blocking that wolf. The roleblocker can kill and block in the same night.

Some things about roleblocking (borrowed from sunfan's C9++ ruleset):

If no action was sent by a player and they were roleblocked, they will NOT be told they are roleblocked. If a role that has no action is roleblocked, they will NOT be told they are roleblocked. All night actions, if blocked, will be told that they were roleblocked during the transitional phase.

Q: What happens when Roleblocker A targets Roleblocker B who targets Player C, assuming Player C attempts to use a night action?
A: Player B is Roleblocked, all other actions take place.

Town/Mafia setup will always be at a ratio of 4:1 regardless of player amount. Any roles not guaranteed will be Vanilla Town/Mafia. Guaranteed in the pools are:

Town
1 Modder
-Whenever the modder gets an item, it can be treated as if they have the plain version (loaded revolver, magical orb).
1 Customs Agent
-The Customs Agent picks a player every night. They will fully inspect which version of an item arrives at a player's house (if any). If the player receives an item, they will be informed who they use the item on (if applicable).
1 Oaf
-A brainless oaf who can't use items properly. If they receive an item, it will be treated as the toy version when used. Shots will still be used.
-Since they have no understanding of how items work, any kill attempts made with an item against them will be ignored (gun, potato).
-You cannot openly claim Oaf. Any hard claims in thread will result in a modkill. Fake claims will also result in a modkill. Don't be a literal oaf.

Mafia
1 Tinkerer
-Whenever the tinkerer gets an item, it can one-shot be treated as the flipped version (Russian revolver, re-polarized orb)
1 Interceptor
-The Interceptor can pick a player every night. They will steal the item that would otherwise arrive at the player's house.
-If the Interceptor receives an item and already has an item, they can only use one item. They choose which item to use.
-If inspected by the Customs Agent, the additional item will be detected.


Within the game, there are a few hot potato items that will be passing between players. Every night, each of these items will be randed into a player's possession, regardless of alignment. Each item must be used when it is received. The roll for item distribution will be done once per night via list randomizer, and the top 10 names of the list will receive the following items:

1. Loaded Revolver
-You are told that you have received a gun.
-The revolver will be loaded with one bullet at the beginning of the game in a random chamber in the 6-shot revolver.
-Every night, you must select a target. You cannot select yourself.
-You will not know if a bullet is in the chamber.
-If a bullet is in the chamber, your target will be shot and killed next morning. Your fingerprints will be found on the gun.
-If a bullet is spent, a new bullet will be loaded in a random position.
-The flavor text for this flip will be: "[Player] was found with a gunshot wound in their temple. [Target's] fingerprints were found on the gun."

2. Loaded Russian Revolver
-You are told that you have received a gun.

-Every night, you must select a target. You cannot select yourself.

3. Toy Gun
-You are told that you have received a gun.
-Every night, you must select a target. You cannot select yourself.
-The gun does nothing and is purely for distraction

4. Magical Orb
-You are told that you have received an orb.
-Every night, you must select a target. You cannot select yourself.
-In the morning, you will receive the alignment of the player you chose.

5. Re-Polarized Orb
-You are told that you have received an orb.
-Every night, you must select a target. You cannot select yourself.
-In the morning, your target will receive your alignment.

6. Plastic Orb
-You are told that you have received an orb.
-Every night, you must select a target. You cannot select yourself.
-The orb does nothing and is purely for distraction

7. Megaphone
-You are told that you have received a megaphone.
-Every night, you must submit a message.
-This message will be broadcast anonymously in the morning's post.
-This message cannot violate TWG code of conduct, but can break the discussion rules for this game.

8. Telegram
-You are told that you have received a telegram.
-Every night, you must submit a message and a player name.
-This message will be sent anonymously to another player at the start of the day.
-This message cannot violate TWG code of conduct, but can break the discussion rules for this game.

9. Will
-You are told that you have received a will.
-Every night, you must submit a message.
-This message will be revealed when you die. Wills do not expire.
-If you receive a will twice, you can submit a new message to update your old one.
-This does not replace a death post.
-This message cannot violate TWG code of conduct, but can break the discussion rules for this game.

10. Rulebook
-You are told that you have received the rulebook.
-Every night, you must submit a word.
-This word will be added to the discussion rules as a forbidden word.
-The word CANNOT be: a player's name, a role name, an item name, kill, lynch, vote, mylo, lylo, WIFOM (or other mechanical/game related terms)
-Feel free to be a jerk.
-The new rule will be publicly declared at the start of the day.

SPECIAL ITEMS
These items exist outside of the world of the other items. They are undetected via customs and ignore the interceptor. The first distribution will be random, but subsequent distributions will be handled by players passing them to others. The first distribution will completely ignore the usual list rand rule, so players can receive an item and a potato in the same night.

11. Potato
-You are told that you received a potato.
-Choose a player to pass it to!
-A player who receives the potato three times will be burned to death. The potato will be randomly distributed the next night.
-Additional potatoes will be added if player base is larger. (2 @ 15, 3 @ 20)

12. Mr. Potato Head
-You are told that you received a potato.
-Choose a player to pass it to!
-This potato does nothing.
-Additional potatoes will be added if player base is larger. (2 @ 15, 3 @ 20)

DISCUSSION RULES
This game has discussion rules. ACME company has an objection to people discussing their products and certain employees aloud, so LISTEN UP or you'll be FIRED!
-You cannot coordinate gunshots or potato passes. Any discussion of who to pass to is strictly forbidden. This includes posts like: "If I have a gun, I'm shooting X," "Let's all agree to shoot X if we get a gun," "Everyone pass potatoes to X because they're wolfy!" You CAN make posts along the lines of "don't shoot me" or "don't pass potatoes to me pls I'm gonna die." Ask me if you think you might be violating this rule with a post.
-You cannot openly claim or fake claim Oaf in thread. If the Oaf is claimed or fake claimed via megaphone, this rule is lifted. Don't forget the previous rule, as it can never be lifted.
-Any banned words are banned. Don't say them! During signups, everyone will submit a word they want banned via PM to me. One will be chosen at random. See rulebook for unbannable words.

Lost Woods Mafia

Werewolves:
All three wolf members are lone. There is no coordination, there is no quicktopic, but they have powers to make up for their aimless wandering.
Wolves will all private message the mod with their choice for the kill at night. If there is not a majority, one random name from the three choices will be selected.
On Night 1, any choices that are another wolf will be thrown out. If all choices are thrown out, there will be no night kill.
If a wolf dies via lynch, the same Night 1 protection will be granted to the wolves for the next night.

CLARIFICATION:

Hot Potato only has roles that are listed. There are no surprise or mystery roles.


Hot Potato Tinkerer (Mafia role) should read:
The tinkerer can one-shot manipulate an item of any archetype to their will (gun, orb). Depending on the item they receive, they can plant fingerprints on the gun. Pick a target as the victim of the gun and a second target as the one with fingerprints.
Similarly, the orb can give any color result to another player from another's POV. For example, you could send a message that Player A is red to Player B, resulting in the same effect you'd have if you used a flipped orb.
