Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

I should make a file real fast for this. I've been thinking about it since it opened, but I struggle to find a song I can follow through with.

Had some nice ideas for this batch actually, gave hip hop a shot as well. I'll be finished soon, but if my upload derps I'm gonna be PISSED. lmfao

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

Despite having my desktop die, I was able to retrieve and send in a few files because I had stored them online on a personal upload space. 8)

I sent in:
Ambient Angels / DJ Gammer
Indo No Sobaya (t+pazolite remix) / t+pazolite
Starry Sky (TANUKI BOOTLEG) / Tanuki

Note for judges: don't forget to read the readmes.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

I can't remember, how much time do we need to have before the start of the music and the notes coming in so nothing is cut out? Was it 2 seconds?

who_cares973 09-30-2011 11:56 AM

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

2 seconds would be ideal but it could be as little as 1.5 iirc

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

74 submissions, so far. and around 12 hours left until submission deadline.

I'll submit some quick stuff to this, if possible.

Ok. Sending:

Fleeting Fantasy (Phantasma) (**** yeah vertex beta round 2)
Liberate (Disturbed)
Try To Star (SSH)

First submissions in 3 years

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

Oh man, Try To Star, awesome.

I sent in a 4 minute long non-collab file >.< I should also have two collabs in there.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

Submitted two FMOish worthy files for the batch. I also submitted my fixes for No Purpose Flour in the conditional queue.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

Gonna submit my file within the next hour or so

Still really iffy about the fixes I made in order to eliminate some pattern redundancy...the fixes only made the file even harder -_-

I'm worried this is only going to get rejected for approaching 13 in difficulty :/

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

Normal batches typically don't have any restrictions. Send whatever you have just so as long as you don't pass your submission cap (following all rules, etc).
