Remember 9/11

I'm posting to remind you about 9/11 and how people from terrorist organisations hijacked two planes and attacked the twin towers in Washington D.C. in 2002 and killed and injured so many people. It's so important to love and cherish people and to not let ourselves get filled with hate and judgement.

I'm really glad to be part of this community.

I remember 9/11 very well, I was 10 when it happened. I remember it was the first time I was ever interested in watching the news, politics or current events. Scary times for sure, especially for us kids who didn't really understand the magnitude of what happened... just that it was "very bad" and a lot of people lost their lives

I'm glad that you are a part of this community too Drizz <3

Close, but a bit off.

9/11 happened in New York in 2001.

I remember coming home for lunch, I was about....8, almost 9ish when it happened. I couldn't quite wrap my head around it until it was announced over the PA in my school in the afternoon.

We're very glad to have you here as well, Drizz :D

They rolled a TV into my 3rd grade Canadian classroom in Toronto and multiple teachers, nearby classrooms and staff sat down in our classroom to watch. They sent everyone home for a couple days about 30mins to an hour after the 2nd tower collapsed. Parents slowly trickled in to pick up children as they had to cancel daily events. I complained vehemently how I had to go back to school on Friday, and why they couldn't just close out the entire week. I don't recall much happening on that Friday, and there was some despair in constant looming throughout that week and the following weekend.

oh, thank you very much :) i really appreciate you :) by the way the first two planes crashed in the twin towers in new york, but the third one crashed into the u.s. department of defense in northern virginia and the fourth one crashed into rural pennsylvania because the passengers revolted and saved more people from being killed

I mean the internet exists with all this information, but ya, 4 planes were hijacked, the first two hit the word trade center buildings, a third hit the pentagon, and fourth was hijacked but the passengers revolted on board managed to get in to the cockpit leading to the plane to crash in Pennsylvania before making it to its presumed destination of the white house in D.C., at the end of the day, America was changed, with 2,977 lives taken through terrorism, all within 120 minutes.

Re: Remember 9/11

This is a very hot take, but the official narrative of 9/11 has been skewed to conveniently cover up that the CIA and Mossad were a huge part of the terrorist attack, as they worked with al-Qaeda to perpetrate it to start the war against the American people. Why was NORAD asked to stand down while the towers burned? Why did Bush not do anything after the attack happened? These are questions I'd ask myself on this matter.

Again, this is a hot take, but I had done some research into 9/11, and they were telling us who would be behind it. It's not al-Qaeda that planned it out, not to say that bin Laden had some bad ideas as well (mainly due to being part of the CIA, as documents from them have pointed out).

I agree. There are just too many questions that need to be answered.
