Is The "Miss Glitch" Still a Thing?

When I'm playing on the Velocity engine, sometimes I'll miss something like a continuous roll, and no matter what timing I use to try to get back into the roll, I basically miss notes until it ends, and it happens every single time a continuous fast roll comes up, so I'm thinking it's not just that I suck...

Just curious as to what people have to say.

the av-miss glitch was fixed a few years ago now, if that's what you're wondering about.
not sure how u use velo engine, but I know that me, on a mac, in-browser, it used to miss randomly for me, couldn't figure out why.

Oh, this sounds like it might be a keyboard issue. I have no idea why, but I've played on various systems/keyboards over time due to playing at school in different rooms, etc. and I can easily say I've had keyboard do weird things.

The most common thing is that keyboards may not be able to register more than 3 keys at a time. Sometimes this depends on what combination of keys are pressed, ie. other combinations might have higher limits on how many will register at a time.

Even outside of this, though, I've seen keyboard be REALLY weird. like after hitting the same key by itself too quickly will cause it to stop responding, or, like you're saying, pressing the same pattern of keys in a row quickly causes the keyboard to drop a key. Not sure why...

this exactly

try opening word, etc... and pressing the four keys you normally play with. if any don't register, then try a different combo, as sometimes different combos will register.
