Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
Points aren't linear (they shouldn't be). Compare the differences between a 9/10 and 10/10, and then compare the differences between a 6/10 and 7/10.
Getting a 6/10 just means your file is an average file. Make it better. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
Honestly though, if the structure and concepts of a chart are decent but still feel generic as a whole, then it should (imo) be given a 7. But if there are technical errors found (such as PR, inconsistent layering, etc.), then a 6 is more plausible.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
I usually stay away from dismissing a song as generic. As long as the chart is easy to understand and everything goes accordingly to it, it will get the rating it deserves (8 or 9 at most).

No technical errors =/= 10/10

Dreamerz: 6/3/8/5/5/3 - 6 average. lolwtf? You guys are WAY too ****in lenient if this got a 6 average. I submit this in a hurry solely for the notes.
F~S: 6/3/6/8/5/5 - 6.5 average: I'm not Xandertrax. |

Also, F~S average is 5.5, not 6.5. Still 5.5 when you drop highest and lowest. |

Those newer judges did better than I thought for the most part. I could criticize a few of them but I will not seeing that it seems like they really put in a lot of effort and time to make their notes as fair and unbiased as possible.
Also Kommi, shame on youuuuuuuuuu xd i still love you though. no homo |
Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
given the way dossar has been reviewing things ~legit~ for sm I'm not sure he should've been judging for FFR, but whatever. I'm seeing a lot of things in his reviews that would upset me if I had gotten that as judgment.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
uhhh ok, so my older comp which had all my files had a major meltdown ~3 weeks ago, I sent it in to get fixed and the tech guys had said they had managed to save all the files on the comp so I assumed everything was ok, but started it up for the first time today (only got it back 3 days ago) to discover that in the sm folder, none of the actual sm files were saved (only the mp3 music files). Can any of the judges e-mail me the files (Since 1983, To Make the End of Battle, and Velaciela) I sent in for this batch if they still have them? I'd be super grateful. =S

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Closed)
Since you sent them to the submission e-mail, it might still be sitting in the Sent/outbox area of your e-mail. Take a look there.

Then, jx has to calculate the adjusted scores using this formula, then decide on a cutoff score. |
