It's pretty powerful, I suppose.

What did you shell out for it? That's the real question.

You're fine.

Anyways, $800 is a very attractive price for a PC like that. Oh, and could you tell us your motherboard, too?

Hardrive is fine, however if you want to boost loading speeds a TON, get a SSHD. You could get one that's only like 60G (Very expensive), and put things like your OS and the games you play most on it so they load super fast.

Dang, that's REALLY cheap for those kind of specs. Care to give some of us a similar discount? ;)

lol SATA hard drives

Re: new computer, what do you think?

You could get a 10,000 RPM hard drive (or 2) and throw em in a raid 0, put your OS and games and stuff on those. That'll double the speed (20,000 rpm and 6 gb/s transfer speed if you get the 3 gb/s hard drives.)

Then I'd get a massive hard drive for data, but that's because I'm a pack rat and 640 gigs isnt enough in my mind.

What's wrong with SATA? You think IDE is faster or something?

I'm on 4GB and already noticing a tiny bit of memory lag every now and then.

I would have already upgraded to 6GB by now with an i7 processor, except that a friend of the family did so the day it came out, and he had nothing but problems, and eventually went back to a DualCore.

YoshiSlayer, not an "amazing" computer (better than my current one though), but a very good one, and definitely a great deal for only $800. Where do you work to get a discount like that?

Are you high? lol.

Also I hope you have an operating system that can support over 4 gb's of ram, or half of that is going to waste. Good price though. Nice cpu.
