Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 [Regular batch: OPEN]
It'd be cool if someone stepped one of my remixes (at least the ones you're allowed to do, but I see T. Swift covers on here so it seems fine) :3 Hint hint

WELP.
All you're missing is Symposium Magarum and Crdens Justiam or w/e the fuck it's called That said I will probably try to chart at least one of these. Edit: Yeah totally gonna have to chart something you did, you've done two of my favorite songs. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 [Regular batch: OPEN]
There's nothing that can make judging not a chore.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 [Regular batch: OPEN]
judging is easy
unless there's a huge backlog then judging is hard |
Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 [Regular batch: OPEN]
The hardest thing about judging files is the lack of diversity in stepartists

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 [Regular batch: OPEN]
judging feels like it's the same four arrows over and over again

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 [Regular batch: OPEN]
Yesterday had the first real movement there's been on judging the September/October Batch since it was supposed to start back in January. Kayla rallied Nathan and AJ into helping out. (She's a lot better at confronting people one-on-one than I am.) So, 'cause we have three judges who are moving now, we might be trying a thing where each set only gets three judgments, and then game managers can look at the borderline cases. Might mean the conditional queue will be used more. We'll see.
I tried working again today, but I'm still having trouble. Just keep feeling awful about how I couldn't get any done sooner, and it's hard to focus when I keep beating myself up. Anyway. As for judge applications, Dossar has been really stressed and busy, so he won't have time to look at applications until after the 15th. So over the next couple weeks, the other judges can leave comments on the applications and stuff, but we need the game managers to make final decisions. Sorry for not posting more updates in here. And deeply sorry about how slow this has all been. I'm still forgetting that no news is still news, even though I know I've told myself that in here before. |
Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 [Regular batch: OPEN]
You're doing what you can, and I appreciate that. Please don't get down on yourself over this, something done is better than nothing, and let's not focus on the "could be doing more" if it's detrimental to personal stuff
