FFR Spon Con: Let's go WAY BACK
 
As you all know, FFR has greatly progressed since the project began all the way back in late 2002. Since then FFR has made tons of improvements to not only the site itself, but to the mechanics of the engine, and even the quality of the step artist's charts. We have watched FFR take down BNS and syncing with notepad. We have watched FFR allow players to use any keyboard keys to hit arrows, and at nearly any rate of speed. FFR has kicked out 1 frame perfects, destroyed the average miss glitch, and has no doubt squashed more bugs than we can possibly recall.

So in celebration of FFR's 10th anniversary, how about we get rid of ALL those wonderful changes, and enjoy ourselves by playing FFR like it was YEARS ago!

This Spon Con is quite simple, and participants will receive many great rewards for taking a trip back to when FFR was still quite a new concept! Unlike yesterday's Spon Con, I'll get right into the details because you have ALL DAY to compete to be a winner of an EVENT token of your choice (you know what, whatever, one event OR support token of your choice).

Since I was a little stingy yesterday only giving out a single event token (and because there might not be three spon cons today) you'll have THREE chances to win one! All you have to do is...

Get the HIGHEST amount of perfects on any of the following songs:
1) Legend of Zelda (Arcade, circle "1")
2) HELLBEAT (Dance 2, circle "4")
3) Rondo Alla Turka (Classical, circle "1")

I bet a few of you are laughing right now, because you already have all of these AAA'd. Well the jokes on YOU, because you have to play these songs:

1) On the arrow keys only
2) At 1x speed
3) With a one frame perfect and good judging window
4) With the average miss glitch
5) Boos breaking combo
6) ...and don't forget all these files are BNS, offsync, and stepped perfectly!

Although this is technically designed for one hand, if you want to try and crunch spread into the arrow keys be my guest.

Don't worry if you don't win though, just like my last Spon Con, ALL participants will automatically get a cool 10,000 credits just for posting a score! You are allowed to submit for all three songs, BUT you can only win ONCE. So just in case some super awesome player decides to participate, don't worry! If they get first place in two or more of the songs, the 2nd place winners will get the other tokens instead! Otherwise this would probably be less enjoyable for the non D7 crowd.


Also I will offer some bonuses in this event!

1) Any player who submits a score of one of the three secret songs on the engine (not the ones on the genres) will get an additional 10k! For each additional one you post, I'll give you 5k more! If you know where they are...don't post the location of them in the thread...

2) Any player who manages to FC any of these files will be deemed BS given an additional 10k credits! If it is actually possible to FC HELLBEAT and you do...I'll give you 30k I don't even care.

3) Any player who AAA's FFR special mix will be given an additional 5k credits! Three whole notes, do you think you can handle it?

I wish you all luck! You have until the server time reaches 12am Monday to pass each other and battle for some tokens!

PS: Sorry, but those are all the levels hosted. Don't try to select or play the other files, since they aren't there to be played. If you select a hosted file and it doesn't load right away, just wait a few seconds and double click it again. It should load after you do this once or twice (2004 bugs hooray).

PPS: If you sup your own score, please remove your screenshot from the previous post so it doesn't get cluttered! You don't have to delete your posts if you don't want, but remove all screenshots that are NOT your best scores on the three songs you are playing. Otherwise I'll have to sort through tons of stuff that doesn't matter and will probably get confusing. Thanks.

By the end of this I think people will come to love what FFR has become a lot more lol.

I gave Ronda Alla Turca a shot.

Not to demean the admittedly very glitchy engine that made the site, but I now realize how much it sucks for me.

Oh my...I forgot this also had the home key thing.

There are selectable songs on the engine that don't require the home key codes. Those are the ones I'm talking about, and you only need to post one to get the bonus!

EDIT: I'll keep track of the people who get the bonuses in the OP.
