That's why I stepped it. I always loved this song, sometimes I would play through the story mode and then spend time just dodging Master Hand's attacks so I could listen to this music. Heh
Congrats on the AAA! You're putting on quite a strong showing in D2.


In other news, I had the D1 file bumped from an 8 to a 7 in difficulty like people had been saying.

Not sure if you are implying that Angel Island is somehow harder, but that's not really the case. I'm sure you can improve your Angel Island.
Angel Island Zone is a high 11 and Airship Theme is a low-mid FGO. While I can't judge the difficulties of the lower division files that well, I know my FMOs and FGOs well enough to give those ratings >_>

lol I find Angel Island Zone a lot harder than Airship Theme but that is just me. I can trill too but I cant transition to each trill very well on that song. I can't even get under 50 goods raw score on that when I can get close to 20 goods everytime on Airship lol. Ah well I just suck at Angel Island.

Lol, I'm not questioning your ability to judge file difficulties. I was just emphasizing the fact that trills (along with jacks) are my weak points. xD

This is sort of the case for me too, but I am going by FFR's precedent: Flight of the Bumblebee is a FMO, Mermaid Island is a FMO... Angel Island Zone is a FMO.
While the trills are hard to PA, I don't think the speed they require is at the same level as the speed required for the super dense Airship JS.


Regardless ratings are just a guideline and I'm not too concerned about them, if you guys really want me to change Angel Island zone to a 12 or something idk I guess I will. Not going to be super stubborn about difficulty ratings like some tournament hosts (*cough*) because I'd prefer you focus more on the file and having fun and competing than some largely meaningless number :)

I'm not sure why I find angel island so easy, but I know I sure as hell can't do well on either mermaid island or fotbb. I think it might be the 1-handed trills that get me though.

Also angel island isn't a 12 because I'm not supposed to be able to AAA 12s
