Host comments: Setups are crazy, people. This one happened to be one of the more tame combinations as it avoided Vigi from Mira. That could have been a bloody one, I tell you. Aside from that, the main focus of this game is probably spent on the huge thunderdome during Day 1. A combination of factors led to TWGma narrowly avoiding the deadly end of the thunderdome, but his victory lap was a short one as he hammered himself after lolcatting for a bit.

Bolth mannn was very quick on the draw in identifying the wolf team. Unfortunately, you got killed right before you could tear into them more. MVP goes to plop for waving his town flag, sticking against the wolf team for inherently wolfy actions, and steering Haku away from dangerous waters at F3.

I do have some FAQs to add to one or two of the roles with some potential balance discussion on self-targeting. Usually self-targeting is a no-no, so we'd have to talk about stuff like the Coverup and their viability when their partner is dead.

Was the emotional post meant to gain sympathy? Little bit.
It mostly came from a place of truth though. With all due respect, FFA, I don't care how mechanically clear YOU think you are, to people with no info, anything is fair game.

I agree with T-Force about FFA not using logical reasoning to plead his case but instead doing the usual "I'm right and you're wrong" mentality.

However, I do think going for AoE's in general is a slippery slope. I've been down that road plenty of times myself, and I always feel like a complete jackass when I do it intentionally to get sympathy points.

But I guess that's just the nature of TWG/Mafia.

Thanks roundbox for hosting! This is a great setup, both in terms of the setup itself and its theming. And I appreciate all the great ZE memes from t-force, lol. I'd love to play this again to see what other rolls we get.

I also really dig the turbo format. Small number of players means fewer potential blindspots. Everything's more cohesive. The 12 hour phases are nice too.

Really really sorry to bolth for the CFD. I got cold feet on t-force for posting the same way he did as boomer, and I caught ffa's soft so I was lost on what to do there.

I think if sunfan had pushed haku over me in the final phase there's an ever-so-slight chance I would've believed it. Those posts from twgma trying to defend the green check when CK was questioning it had me paranoid!

i mean, this is how i feel. the goal is to convince everyone through any means necessary. i feel like, at one point, trevor's AoE would've just made me angry but i already congratulated him on a good play, because it worked. i was the hammer and he (combined with ffa being ffa) got me to vote where he wanted me to.

i'm glad i wasn't the only seriously considering the possibility of haku actually being covered. it seemed like a glaring thing to me that no one else was considering and i know it was an unlikely situation but still possible

With logical plays, you still have to be diplomatic about it, especially if someone else doesn't see it the way you do and you need to convince them. With AtE, you still have to have some logic behind it, otherwise it's just empty emotion.

And even leaving aside moral issues, you can't really pull big AtEs more than once. If I was a wolf posting like I did to haku at the end, my meta would be fucked forever.

I feel like AtE is impossible for me to avoid. I'm just an emotional person and it's really easy for me to get ranty O_O

When I'm wolfing I have to try really hard not to get too emotional about things because I do feel bad, but the emotion is for the most part genuinely real to me and I don't know if I could completely turn it off.
