No really, I'll do it legit, just keep submitting the ones likely to get ++ and raise my cap as fast as possible.

Collabs don't get you any points.

I think I just saw a few of his kernels wither in disappointment.

Deeeeeeenied.
Anyway I don't need to use said loophole, that's what I meant by I'll just do it legit~

I'm only doing collabs if it's actually a collaboration... bmah, dag12, anyone interested feel free to PM me though, I do quite enjoy doing collab files.

Double posting because I sent the edits for CmR and Clash on the Big Bridge.
Fixed sync in a few places, added silence to CmR and fixed some PR as per Silvuh's instructions, added about a dozen jumps total to Big Bridge in places that were a little dry previously. That's about it, both should be good to go in the game now :)

This is added to the submission rule, related to the song file.

6. Use MP3 format with 44.1 kHz, 16bit, Stereo for the song. Bit rate of the MP3 should be 128kbps at least, 160kbps or higher preferably.

hi19: got them.

May sound like a noob question, but where can you find all of these to check? I found the bit rate of the songs I sent and they checked out okay, but I don't know where to check the kHz or bits.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

Those are standard quality factors for a music file, but these parameters may require some audio software to check (usually mp3s meet these reqs if the bit rate is higher than 128kbps). I'm just removing these descriptions to avoid confusion.

6. Use MP3 format for the song file. Bit rate of the MP3 should be 128kbps at least, 160kbps or higher preferably. If the MP3 meets bit rate requirement but the original sound quality is bad, we may require a better MP3.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

Well this sucks, I had just basically finished the set of songs I wanted to send in when I realized one of them was a collab, which means it doesn't get me points so I can't send it in.

Now I gotta re-do my whole plan again >_> that was pretty stupid of me

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

Yeah he's trying to get as many points as possible right now though

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

Yeah I gotta think StRatEgiCaLLy

It's a great file, but it's for a song that I don't think anyone else will step (unless they specifically know which of my files I'm talking about and feel like being an uber-douche, in which case I can't help that) and if it doesn't get me points it can just wait a few months until my cap is 6 or 7 or so and I can fit it in, preferably alongside another collab so as to maximize the number of files.

Sent a file :)

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

Why are you trying to increase your submission cap so much just slow down with the stepping jeez. I don't want to judge 15 hi19 files per batch D;

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 (Submission Open!)

I just sent in my file for the song "La Cereza Caliente". Hope you received it. Still working on a second song but I dont think I will have the time to do a second one due to how busy school is keeping me.

EDIT: Im not entirely sure if the the sending process worked actually. I am gonna email it when I get home then.

EDIT2: ok I think it was sent properly now.

For the record this is the most fun I've had on Stepmania since I started playing again, I'll be mega sad if this file doesn't get ++s

It will be interesting to see how the PxFxS chart looks compared to other versions.
