rip Jakarta
It was getting better, but then radical Muslims wanted representation. Who needs a tolerant society anyways?

Re: rip Jakarta
The current governor of Jakarta helped improve the city by cutting back on pollution and corruption, as well as making the city more secular and inclusive. He got arrested for Blasphemy for a mistranslated quote from the Quran that he apologized for. Most of the cities residents don't like he's being charged with this and being tried so quickly. Mostly radical Muslims wanted him in jail, and mostly because the governor's Christian and Chinese. It's mostly in line with the swaths of Pro-Nationalism sweeping the globe at the moment.
