Make Blackground Black?
Is there a way to make the background for a song always black?
Some songs have very annoying animations or colors in the back that make it hard for me to see the notes as they go by, would be really helpful if I could just have the regular notes on a black background. |

Unfortunately not. There are ways to make certain files more readable, though. Which song are you having trouble with?

Re: Make Blackground Black?
Try lowering your speed mod and then screen cutting in order to eliminate most of the background video. You can also try tinkering with note skins as a way of making the arrows more readable. You can even try to tilt your screen back so that the arrows stand out more.
Other than that, there's not really much you can do -- that song is pretty notorious for it's annoying background animation. Good luck. |

Re: Make Blackground Black?
Using velocity's noteskin on the ffr_Wide.swf was how I was able to AAA that file. Before I wasn't even getting an SDG (LOL)
All I have to say is that the token requirement for v1 is more reasonable because of this. If there were no extra noteskins to choose from it would be retarded because every score is pretty much mashed on that file. |

Re: Make Blackground Black?
On FFR files the background is a part of the level, so you need to get over it somehow.
Like other people said you can use noteskins, etc. |
