I'm sorry, I know I suck, but I have to say this.

Korean Madness = unplayable chart 2012 ;~;

Really?

Files of this difficulty should be released to the public frequently. Save these files for tournaments. Last official did not have nearly enough [solid] hard files.

That's what happens when you leave the BG brightness at 100%

... There's an option for that? I'm using Velocity engine...

No, as in when the level .swf was being made to insert the video the person who converted it left the background at 100% brightness. Whenever I make files with videos in them, I put a darkening transparency box and put it down to something like 50%. Examples ingame of this include Winning and Reality Hits You Hard Bro.

I'll be editing my thoughts into the post as I play them.

Can't Hide Your Love
Step Artist: Kommisar

I loved the intro, hate the outro.

Exotic Matter
Step Artist: Tidus810

I can't say I agree with how you did sections of this, and I most certainly thought the drums where fun, but rather unneeded to be charted in such a way pattern wise with the overall difficulty simple rolls probably would have been a lot better if you asked me. I guess I don't like it due to preference all over the place. But I can't say it's bad though. Shoot.

Korean Madness*
Step Artist: _.Spitfire._

Clearly a joke chart, but it's actually not that bad.

Let's Go
Step Artist: trumaestro

This being the difficulty it is, is a joke. Good one staff. You'll be bumping this due the anchors soon enough I imagine.

As for the chart, it had a lot of potential, but I feel it was slightly wasted. But that's all subjective stuff.

Edit: Ok, I was weary, so I replayed it. Are you kidding me?! What in the world where you thinking with these patterns... I can't recall a chart where a drum roll was some wonky ass 1 3 4 ish stuff. What in the world...

Redirected Moonlight
Step Artist: MarioNintendo

Very out of your norm, but nice either way. I'm earnestly surprised at the lack of hands.

Vortex
Step Artist: Choofers

This chart hits a lot of my pet peeves, so I'm just not gonna say anything. It'd be pretty biased.

This song was actually released upon request by Choofers and Atomhead himself. The artist was excited to have his song released onto FFR.

Why is there a broken token link and then a real token link on the same page without any reason? And the location of the token itself doesn't even fit the clue, the broken link's location makes much more sense. If this is intentional make it obvious why it works so it isn't just randomly clicking around, and if it's not intentional then please fix it. Feel free to delete this post when fixed.

Something went wrong with the audio quality of Korean Madness and it now sounds like it was recorded with a wooden plank. Hope it gets fixed soon :J

It doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere, but I stepped this to cater to one-handed players. Some of the patterns are kind of weird as a result.

... One handers would struggle with that immensely unless they're like bynary good I would imagine.

Not for nothing Dossar - I don't have a problem with you, but I am slowly getting annoyed by the huge obsession you have with files/releases/tournament stuff. The whole issue with you and obsessing about frame fixing has bothered me ever since I pulled the first AAA on My Half and received an overly blunt response immediately after it saying that your frame fixes made it way easier (discrediting my accomplishment much?), and that's not even related to this, but it irritates me because it goes hand and hand with your obsession about the official tournament.

I was the one who converted the file, and I barely had the time to do so as it was. I was working on a paper for one of my classes when I decided to help bmah out since no one else was available/willing to help out. If it wasn't for the fact that I was on a bit of a time constraint and that no one else was around, I wouldn't have even bothered. I know how to add the transparency to the video; I'd be willing to do it right now if it wasn't for the fact that people have mentioned the audio being broken.

As far as the audio of Korean Madness being broken, I have no idea why it's doing that. I initially converted the file at 160 Kbps even though the audio was 128 Kbps, and when Kayla made a mention of Zageron saying the audio was sounding poor, I reconverted it to match the original audio's bitrate in an effort to remove clicks/pops/etc. It didn't work though.

EDIT: With that being said, Dossar -- since you do know how to create the background videos for files, perhaps you can do the one for Korean Madness on your own, since I didn't do such a great job on it (and I'm not saying this sarcastically). The file size of the .swf is obscenely high at 13 MB which is causing timeout issues for staff from what I've heard, and the audio isn't working right even though I've converted files like this before with no audio issues whatsoever.

I'll get around to playing these songs soon...

Also, I nearly AAA'd this one-handed in StepMania when I saw it in the batch - it most definitely caters to one-handed players, haha :)

Yeah, I'm really excited to have Vortex on FFR because not only is it one of the craziest songs in the game, but it's also one of the files I'm very proud of. Atomhead is excited as well, and he told me to notify him once Vortex was in game so he could make a blog/facebook post about it.

fun fact: I had fixes I was gonna send in that would have lowered the difficulty to a low 80 but lol I forgot to send 'em.

Anyways, hope you enjoy Vortex !! (and don't say you don't like it because of "mad cuz bad" !!) !!

Huh, maybe I'm just really outta date cause I never got good at one handing beyond AAAing 5's on the old scale. But seeing 1 3 4 ish sort of stuff makes me kinda cringe at the thought of doing them one handed.
