Hey guys it's good to see you all again an quite some time, It's been quite hectic over the past couple of days for me because we are having the Literacy test in Canada on the Thursday, even though I don't need to take it because I already passed it.

I'll get straight to the point.

There is a song called Perfect cherry storm by SUN3, anyone who has played this game for long enough should probably know the song out of a crowd. I have been trying to get a copy of the extended version of the song that is located here or below this wall of text in the spoiler, but without the 3 clash noise effects within the song. I tried asking the people who made the course (SRT X & WinDEU) but they both proclaim that it was a collaborative effort and the sound effects were put into the audio file, not a seperate audio-alteration file, so they didn't have an original extended version of the song, just the altered boss battle version of their song.

I've tried messing around with the song in audacity and other music-changing programs, but I'm just not good enough with music layering to make it look seamless, which is the problem. I wanted the original extended version of the song to step for DDR, but I'm left with the boss-edited version of the song.

Is there anyone that is good enough to alter the file so that the clashing sound effects don't appear, and make it seamless enough for someone to step the song?

This is my altered version of Perfect cherry storm if anyone wants to listen to it, or work on it. It's seamless enough that you won't pick it up by ear until you create a stepchart with it, and get to the part of the song that I changed.

I'll start transferring steps right away to the new file in DDream and continue stepping it.

Do you think FFR will accept an extended version of Perfect cherry storm? It's still by the same author.

It's hard to say, but I think there have been a few times where a v2 of a song was accepted when it was the longer version. It usually has to be significantly different from the first version though.
