UKSRT 9 (UK Sightreading Tournament)

This is happening this upcoming Saturday, to be streamed on https://www.twitch.tv/taronuke at 2PM - 8PM UTC+01

If you're not familiar with what this type of sightreading tournament entails, here's the stages from the previous UKSRT for your reference:

With the amount of work that's being put into this event, you're really not going to want to miss this. Legit cutting edge mod work that's going to happen, and I'm hype as all hell for this (and i'll be in the UK for the first time for this!)

I'm hype for this, I want to see if it's actually possible to be this good at reading shit. Mostly though, the patterns are super entertaining. It's like rhythm game Milkdrop.

REALLY excited to see what this one will bring to the table! :D

If people can already perform UKSRT8's content really well after a couple weeks, I expect this one to take it up another couple notches!

HYPE!

the playlist i linked has videos of the sightread plays from last year - this stuff is definitely possible, and definitely like, ability based

hoping to make it into top 8 at the very least

it's kinda unfortunate that stage 4b and stage 5 wasn't streamed, because those actually blew my goddamn mind

Re: UKSRT 9 (UK Sightreading Tournament)

Yeah, at least we'll have a playthrough.

Was very interesting to watch from both a technical standpoint (modifiable systems has been a study area of interest for awhile) and seeing what a shot (and a quite successful one too, I might add) at the pinnacle of the mod experience looks like.

Playing pad is unfortunately out of the question for me, at least for now, but I'm tempted to pick up mods on kb. Looks like a lot of fun.

How much deeper can this possibly get?

And to think this was mind-blowing at one point.
