Re: TWG CLXXV: Survivor Newfoundland - GAME THREAD
Welcome everybody to Survivor Newfoundland. I'm glad you've all received your invitations. This season of Survivor is like no other and will go down in the history books. Never have we had a hidden team playing against the rest of the survivors, but as you know, Survivor is full of twists. Among you there are 4 Saboteurs ready to take the game away, but maybe, with some effort, you'll prevent that and take the game for yourself. First, we'd like you all to get to know each other. Each of the two tribes has its own private beach, but you're free to communicate with each other as you see fit. Next, here are today's immunity and reward challenges: Today's reward is a power of grand scale. However, to get the reward, first you must progress through a challenge. Today's reward challenge is the highest score on the song "Buddy Holly" on Weezer Jam Session. Please send your highest score with a timestamp to TWG Jeff Probst. Wanna know what you're playing for? As always, one of you will be grasping for the immunity idol. Today's coveted immunity challenge is to draw the best rendition of your tribe's shelter using Paint. Please submit all of your wonderful creations to TWG Jeff Probst through PM. The reward and immunity challenges will close at 2:00 PM server time on Friday, January 19th. Day 0 will end at 10:00 PM server time on Friday, January 19th. Please send any and all votes to TWG Jeff Probst. You may now post! |

Re: TWG CLXXV: Survivor Newfoundland - GAME THREAD
Let me tell you, my survivor island strandees, let me tell you of a tale of my own self-preservation and survival. A tale of mystique and wonderment. A true epic saga of my own self-fortitude for the sake of preservation and survival.
Let me tell you of a crazy night at a fearful, dark place, held right in the deep, dark jungle known by the natives as Toronto, or in their own tongue, "Trawna", at a gathering of people with coloured hair and halloween costumes in May, known as "Anime North". Now this all starts with myself, fearless as I am, getting carried away from my safe and humble abode outside of this dark jungle. I arrived on mechanized carriage, and from which I eventually departed into the masses. It was dark when footdown was met, and dark it remained in my own mind. Much was unclear, other than the many unfamiliar faces and distinct prevalence of conversation. Now, this was well and good, until I was eventually brought back to the "Hotel Room" where there was suddenly a... you guessed it, WOLF HUNT. It was then that I had to fend for my own life and survival to deduct who was secretly a wolf. Through thick and thin, however, I was able to masterfully recognize the wolf amidst the crowd, and save my fellow comrades from a mauling come night. And it is this that I was able to escape Trawna and flee to my homely abode. I feel I can apply this experience here once again, my fellow tribemates. God bless, let us all reconvene and accrue information, with myself, the Wolf Slayer, as your shining silver sword. |
