Re: FFR Suggestions
bring back skill token chains

Re: FFR Suggestions
Could the edges of these be fixed also? I'd do it but saving the image in the program I use makes it extremely pixely. My token submissions are proof of that :-P
Also, can there be a better image for Gaussian Blur or is that permanent? |

Re: FFR Suggestions

AAAA does technically exist on FFR's R^3 engine, which also accounts for Amazing (marvelous) along with perfects. Getting all amazings would be considered a AAAA. |
Re: FFR Suggestions
I think the rating AAA AA A B C D E rating system could be tightened up. It seems to me like if you get a C you basically failed the song, and if you get a D you might as well have gotten E. B seems to be able to go either way.

Re: FFR Suggestions
Maybe they should just eliminate the D and E?? Those letters mean nothing lol...

Re: FFR Suggestions
I can mash my way to a C or even a B on many mid 70s, and there is no way I am good enough to play those songs.

Admittedly, Kyuin was kind of a pain (Hi19 admits it himself) but working one's way up the chain was encouraging, fun and rewarding. |

Re: FFR Suggestions
IMO the grades ingame are basically meaningless. They do give a rough idea of how well you did but it's not a very useful one and it's quite arbitrary too. AFAIK it's not even roughly equivalent to the grades in SM.
As for AAAAs... if you convert an FFR file at 60 fps instead of the standard 30, it will play at twice the speed. The notes scroll twice as fast, of course, requiring the player to use a smaller speedmod, but the cool thing is that the timing windows are half the size, so to AAA the file you basically do need to AAAA it by normal standards (you're pretty much playing on j7). And FCing is almost as hard as AAAing normally. There is a song like this on the Indeed engine (http://www.indeedengine.com/levelsta...=songofjustice). It could be a cool token idea, if we got someone to step another song (AA?), made it easy enough that your typical decent active player could have a shot at AAAing, and then did this trick to it. |

Re: FFR Suggestions
We should really fix the actual tokens up as well. Recreate the puzzles and make sure they all work.
