In settings, if the song is too late and the arrows need to come earlier, set a negative global offset, like -1, or -2. And vice versa.

"Early" means late goods, meaning that the offset you use needs to be a positive number.
"Late" means early goods or averages, meaning that the offset you use needs to be a negative number.

It's important to know when to use negative and positive so you don't wind up making it even worse, haha

EDIT: I have been practicing tiny bit, the stream in SM at rate .75, and can just barely read it. Still feels fast that slow lmao. I think I just suck.

lol I was doing it at .9 when I was practicing and honestly couldn't read it well like that either. I didn't really read it at that speed, I mostly just played so many 190-200 bpm jumpstream songs before playing it that I was used to them enough that I could better controlled mash >.<.

And you definitely have not lost, handstream is my absolute worst pattern in the game, I'm honestly afraid I'm gonna plummet down to last on cumulative scoring for the finals :(

Edit: Couldnt sup icy, but got a minor improvement. The jacks in the first half and the last 2 rolls are the only thing stopping me from a nice score.
