Lost From The Internet Pack RELEASED!

Click to download the pack here!
Or here from the SMO website!

I have a bunch of old files that have never been released in packs, so I figured I'd go through all my non-pack files to see which ones I could find in the smo database, weed those out and be left with a pack of files that would be very difficult or even impossible to track down individually.

There's a lot of variety because it's not any particular style. There's easier files, harder files, goofy files.. you may even recognize some of the names. A few of the files actually are in other packs, but have additional difficulties. All of the step creators that I could figure out have been added to the folder names, if they didn't have them already.

If nothing else, these songs and/or charts could inspire any modern resteps if anyone wished to do so. Give 'em a shot. Some of them are legitimate challenges. :)

All the way back to 2003. And you won't find these files in any of those old packs.

Lost from the Internet yesterday, but archived as of today!
SMO Mirror: Lost From The Internet Pack [Keyboard]

Man this reminded me about my old collection of singles, and it turns out I had a couple of these. The vast majority of them were from the old FFR Simfile database when that was still around. I bet a lot of people's lost content could come to surface if people browsed through their old SM stuff.

some of these authors would not have wanted their files released without permission

Hey thanks for the SMO mirror. :D I just happened to have a lot of them 'cause these have been through 4 of my computers now since 2003 and I figured they deserved to be out by now since it's been so long. I just needed to go through and double check against other packs and files and such and I did that all today.

I don't presume to speak for other people like that. I just want everyone to enjoy the files.

YOU DIDN'T RELEASE ANY OF MY OLD FILES
DRAMA

Re: Lost From The Internet Pack RELEASED!

So exactly how many of these simile artists visit FFR anymore? I'm not saying that makes it alright but it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal considering the date these were made.

Re: Lost From The Internet Pack RELEASED!

obviously there's practical reality vs principle

I'm merely pointing out that some people would find it distasteful to take the creative works of others and distribute them without permission regardless of intention

actually by packaging up their files and releasing them without consent, that's exactly what you are doing
