Players' Choice Tournament
In this tournament, we have decided that we want to give you, the participants, a voice. Thus, we will release three(3) pre-selected files that you will vote for! The Rules -First and foremost, there will no cheating allowed. This means no Alternate Accounts, as per site rules, no botting of any form, and no modifying screenshots. - Scores must be posted in the thread, or via PM to Botchi or Kanzas, in the form of Screenshots only. No replays will be accepted, and will be thrown away. - There are 2 ways to take a screenshot for this. See the examples in the spoilers below. Division Placements and Round Information - Division Placements will be based on your ranks in the Leaderboard. You may tell us this when you sign up, or we can look if you do not. Either way will work. -There will up to seven(7) divisions, based on the number of participants. If the number is low, we will have mixed divisions. - There will be seven(7) rounds, each lasting five(5) days. The planned start date will be Friday October 23rd, at 12am, midnight. Any changes to the start date will be posted and mass PM'd for convenience, as well as new round start dates. How To Vote - During the first round, you play a file of the Hosts' choosing. We will release with this round, and the start of each new round, three(3) files that you will have a choice to vote for to play the next round. Simply, when you post or PM your screenshot, let us know which of the given choices you would like to vote for. - Once you have voted, you will not be allowed to change this vote, so choose wisely. Scoring and Eliminations - Scoring will be RAW scoring, and NON-CUMULATIVE. - After the Fourth Round of the Tournament, any player with 0 points will be eliminated. Each round thereafter, one player will be eliminated until the final round where final scores and point totals for remaining competitors will be assessed. Winners will have the most amount of points. -Points for rounds are as follows: AAA or first place in the round will get 4 points, second place will get 3 points, third place will get 2 points and fourth place will get 1 point. Any one placing after the first four places will get 0 points. - Late scores will be accepted, without penalization, only if the user has let one of Hosts know that they need an extension. Otherwise, if you fail to notify us, late scores will not be counted if they are posted after the end time for a round. We will PM everyone at the start of each new round! There is no reason to miss these! n_n Prizes - Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 in each division. The total credits will be split equally between all divisions, and then 50% will go to first place, 25% to second place, and 15% to third place, and the remaining 10% to anyone who places in 4th or lower. For future reference, the engine time is +5 hours from Server Time. I can help with songs if needed because certain songs shouldn't be set in a tournament scene (There is a chart in the D2-D3 range that is overshot by a mile). May send a donation in, if I can remember to do so. |

Going to step in here, if that's how they want the screenshots done they have every right to specify it that way. If you don't like the rules of the tournament you don't have to join it and they have the right to not accept your score if you don't follow their instructions set in the OP.
