If you're talking about version 1 of hellbeat, idk, the steps are pretty messed up, being a simfile that was made long ago. For sight reading offbeat, blue arrows, try early synthlight files of moderate difficulty. Hellbeat has a lot of fast jumps, so maybe try AIM Anthem if you want to practice hitting fast, repeated jumps.

Re: hellbeat

AIM is harder then HELLBEAT
Easiest way to learn the patterns is find songs with repetitive note jumps.. like Love Cheat!

Re: hellbeat

Despite the difficulty, AIM has the jumps necessary to do the kind of patterns that are in HELLBEAT. Both songs are short. Love Cheat's longer, while having colored arrows and being on-sync.

gj

if you want some help with the timing, notice that the first trill of the song ends a bit early; figure out when it stops and stop before changing to hitting the jumps

Re: hellbeat

Try playing without sound if you don't already.
This will allow you to really focus on the patterns
without becoming distracted by the offbeat music.
