Where should I post my fanfictions?

Ive been making a Mai x Yukko comic and I want to start to write a Miku x Rin fanfiction. I was gonna do in on wattpad but I have to make a account for it. and my Gmail is conected to my family's Gmail. So if I make it my family can find the verification and see that
1. im cringe
2. that I write lgbtq stories.
They dont know im a gay guy so if they find it they will know that I support the LGBTQ, but still dont know that im gay. It would be harder to explane by then.

Where should I post my fanfiction?

(edit, please use she/he pronouns when referring to me)

Sounds like you need your own private email address more than a fanfiction site recommendation

Yeah, and there are plenty of non-gmail options if you want to make sure Google doesn't link anything together, try protonmail or whatever other email service you prefer.

Re: Where should I post my fanfictions?

I think making a private Gmail that would also send a gmail to ether her phone or my brothers tablet. To be honest I think I'll just try to make the account and erase the emails saying that I have a account. But im not sure if she can see what accounts I have.

it's not like shes super strict or homophobic, it's just that the area I live in is OMEGA homophobic (like I can not describe how homophobic it is) and I dont want to put that type of pressure on her. I know she will support me when I come out but I want to be somewhere safe for me when I come out.

Ps: mom if your reading this somehow
1. Soooooooooooooo... Im gay
2. do not tell anyone about it
3. you are the greatest mom in the world!!!

I think you may have a bit of anxiety regarding others finding out about your lgbtq situation, without any basis or merit that anyone's actually looking into it or doing research behind your back on your content. From what you've said, your mother doesn't exactly strike me as the kind of person that's actively getting onto your computer with the strict purpose of going back through your search history or viewing what you post online.

Just make a new email account, personal and private to you. There's plenty of options. Yahoo, Google Mail (GMail), Outlook (Microsoft), and Proton just to name a few. That way, if you need to sign up for another account online using an email, no one can see such emails. Just don't set up the particular email with 2-Factor Authentication.

Could even use a throwaway mail account, one where the inbox is public to anyone & everyone, just to sign up an account, with the intent to never use it again. https://www.mailinator.com/

https://mail.yahoo.com/
https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/
https://proton.me/mail

Some websites, after a while, request reconfirmation via email to ensure that it's really you. So, I wouldn't recommend using a throwaway mail. Just create a new account and don't add it to the family group. Well, if you're paranoid about browser history, there's incognito mode, and there are some browsers that delete all history upon exit. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name right now.

Re: Where should I post my fanfictions?

I have made a wattpad account, I want gonna also make a fanfiction.net account but because a used a burner account. I forgot to verify it. will probably make it later.

Im gonna make a MIku x Rin story, a Nichijou pride club one shots, and maybe a Peni parker x Nano Shinonome (probebly not because I dont know how I would conect them, I just think a ship between a girl that is into robotics and a robot girl would be cute)

Also this is my first time writing anything outside of school so expect the writing to be horrible. (which is ok, im still learning and getting better every day, im saying this for myself) Any feed back or criticism is very appreciated

Thank you all very much for recomending sites! I joined here to feel better about being part of the LGBTQ+ and I do feel a lot better. Hope yall have a great day and amazing mindset through the cold month!!!

Post them here. These forums are ancient. Great place for fan fiction!

Re: Where should I post my fanfictions?

I've been writing a Nichijou pride club fan fic and a Mai x Yuuko fan fic. Im gonna finish the Mai x yukko one first (Not even close to being finish, like 0.0001% done)
But I wanted to share a part from what I wrote for the pride club fan fic.

Weboshii walks in confidently "Hello! Im Weboshii, it is very nice to meet you all!". Everyone greets her. "So what are your names?" she asks while looking around
at everyone. "well you already know me but im still gonna introduce myself. I am Mio Naganohara, the founder and president of the study/pride club,
and I am a LGBTQ ally!" Yukko gets excited to talk next, "My name is Yukko Aioi, she/her pronous" she grabs Mai's shoulders while looking at Mai
"And this is my beautiful girlfriend, Mai!" Mai blushes and smiles very slightly while looking away "yeah, were both lesbians". "o-Oh, and im Nano
Shinonome. I am bisexual, Intersex, and go by she/they/ze pronouns." She said nervously.

I use Fanfiction.net, personally. I hear Archive of our Own (AO3) is popular too. And Wattpad. I have friends who use Tumblr as a fanfiction outlet, too!

I think writing fanfiction can be a great creative outlet. Writing is also good for mental health, motivation + discipline, and is shown to have a load of other health + social benefits. Keep up the good work! When you feel comfortable sharing more, feel free to share here too!

Re: Where should I post my fanfictions?

I've finished writing a chaper for a fan fic, It's not nichijou, I've put both of those stories on the back burner for now. It's a splatoon agent 8 x agent 3 story. Im not sure if I should share because I plan for it to be looong and I only got a chapter done. Once I finish 3-4 chapters I'll probebly post it on fanfiction.net

Also happy birthday Nano Shinonome!

For fanfiction, have you considered AO3?

I have but the Gmail I use has to have confirmation now, I can still authorize it though so I'll probebly do that to make an account.

also Im done with the first part of the Agent 8 x Agent 3.

https://www.fanfiction.net/s/1433714...nt-8-x-Agent-3

don't expect part 2 to come out for at least 5 months. I have a bunch of real life stuff I have to deal with and I'm just slow with writting. And please give back criticism, I want to improve the story so it can be the best it can be!
