2nd Unofficial FFR Tournament - Final Results
 

This tournament presents a new set of judgment rules on its participants in terms of division placement. Sprite- has brought to light the idea of looking at each and every individual user's abilities by studying their level ranks. So please expect a MUCH GREATER placement accuracy. But this only sets a face to the tournament. Yes, as the first, it's here to emulate the official tournament as closely as possible so here's what I'm gonna do.

First, let's talk prizes. In my 1st Unofficial FFR Tournament I set a record smashing prize of 2,800,000 total credits given out to the winners of the tournament. Well this time around I expect a MUCH GREATER deal of credits to give out, I just hope people show a generous side to their donations as I have given my spill to the community as most of you know. BUT! These credits are just half, or even a third of the prize pots. The REAL prize is cash AND subscriptions! Yes, that is correct... I'm giving away money AND subs all provided by yours truly ;) Here are my current prizes.

Fix the date again, it says sunday 24th, it should say friday. Oh if it this really does end on the 24th, then that would make this round five days, I dunno if you planned that but just pointing it out.

Just for those who dont know, and GGC has been around long enough to be known as GGC, i wouldve put LGC for expert but then things get out of whack wit the Abbrev. usage also thats how Phynx tol me =P

Phynx might change that, I put it the 24th cuz the round started like 8 hours later than it should have and Friday seems llike a more epic day for it to end.

Actually, it means 1.6 (1 + 6/10), and scorewise, I think it's actually works out in this way:

1 average = 1.8 goods
13.75 boos = 1 good (meaning 55 boos is 4 goods:!:)

Just gave GGC a bunch of tries, managed to pull off 5 goods at best. No screen because I accidentally hit the back button on my mouse as I was trying to take a screen, in any case I have the replay saved. I doesn't matter much though since I already know that aod got 3, just throwing this out here that I'm not giving up yet :P. Maybe I'll give it some more tries in daytime next time (it's 4:30 am here now) as I probably am not in my best shape at this time of the day.

I've been in Canada folks, lul, do you really think I'd be so lazy as to not update the final rounds and such??? Lulz. I drove 15 hours here and so I've just been relaxing, spending time with Payden. Again, I say lulz. I haz life, don't worry, now that internet has returned at the hotel I shall check this every night. Thanks Oni for doing that for me and thanks once again for the 092834098435093273th time Sprite for helping me with this. :3 Umm.... is there anything else I need to explain to people? Is this sarcasm?

Basically I'm saying that if you get a bad song, there should be replacement songs of some sort, like a choice of 1 out of any 3 songs one technical difficulty higher. Like if you have a Challenging song, you get to pick any of of 3 VC songs and have that count. That judges your skill overall, not on any particular song, but at the same time it doesn't offer an advantage.

all in all it seems like you are being a huge crybaby about having a bad song. I've never seen someone post so much about how they were so wronged by one tournament. If there is a song that you aren't good at its a pretty obvious indicator of your skill (or lack of). Sure you might be better at other songs but the fact of the matter is you don't have the skill to be good at all of them. If you were allowed to play whatever songs you were good at then what would the challenge be in the tournament? Its not fair to everyone..how could you even measure whether or not someone is better than the other when you use two different songs.

Nah. I enjoyed this tournament, and I don't believe I was wronged. I just would've liked a fair chance considering that was the single song he could've picked to destroy my chances. If it was any other song and I went out, I wouldn't be complaining. I really shouldn't be complaining now, I'm just disappointed.
As far as my skill goes? I've done well for myself so far, and I've gotten increasingly better scores since the first round. Skip {Frozen}, and I'd still be in this thing. You can't blame me for being a bit upset, but my being annoying does not justify you acting like a douchebag to me.
